Couple of very telling charts at that link ...

 

Kepa has conceded 13 goals that he should have saved ... by a huge margin the worst keeper in the top half of he table (and in the whole division no doubt). At the other end of the scale, Hugo Lloris has saved 10 that should have gone in ... and 9 for Henderson. I'd take either of that pair ... 

 

 

We are comfortably the worst in the PL at defending corners. We are 6x as likely to concede as Liverpool ...

So is the magic, to score more, or completely invest in a change of the back 5, James has a pass atm, i think he'll be a fine defender in the Ivanovic mould, i think Daves legs are going, so a new Defender/Captain, nearly 200 million on 3 new players of a front 4, i like AKe, in a better team he will thrive, he is class and can play, Rice to Centre Back Hmmmmmm, Sayunco instead of that pretender Chilwell, Tagliafico looks promising, there must be a brilliant JT/Rio/ type knocking about in the leagues, If we play a lot of 3 at the back then persist with Alonso as a wing back, he's a real good and threatening player in that role, and so pleasing on the eye to watch, Silky smooth.

Is kante, Jorge, Barclay, or some other  going to be traded in to raise some funds to strengthen, a lot of bartering by the chief Negotiator Marina, whatever next season is going to be like those first seasons when Roman spent like he owned Harrods

We need a LB because Azpi cannot be the solution there for an entire season. His legs haven't gone, that is nonsense. 

We might need a CB, however I am not too fussed on this. Defensively I genuinely think the only headache is 1) Defending at corners and 2) Our goalkeeper. Outside of those two avenues we would actually have one of the better defences in my opinion. 

Can we solve 1)Corners- with a better goalkeeper and a tall enough left back who can defend at corners? I don't know. But I wouldn't mind if we at least find out. Currently our goalkeeper is glued to the line, it makes it easier for teams to attack from corners with an inswinger into the 6 yard box. Many of the crosses we concede from wouldn't even be attempted against Courtois or Cech who would clear the space and just pick them out the air.

I am nervous about us signing too many players in one season. Havertz + a LB + a GK is enough for the rest of the transfer window for me. 

Havertz + LB + GK and we can fight on CL and PL fronts. It might not win the league, but we would be able to identify the one or two key signings we actually need. We might find out that it isn't a £80m CB we need (I think Rudiger has the ability to be a player and Zouma is massively underrated by our fan base). We might need a holding midfielder, it might be we want a striker who can hold it up and play in a 2 with Werner. We might need a RB.

I Disagree with quite a lot of that, but its a forum, and i'm not critiquing it, but Dave being 31 when the season restarts, his legs aint what they were..

I am not sure Frank is very proud of that. They got under his skin. On the other hand nice to see this kind of personality from Frank. He is usually very calm and collected.

Yh agree, but that was such an obvious dive and Klopp and co were actually justifying the act, I dont blame him for losing his top they've been diving in and around the box all season.

I think it was just a typical argument you get regularly on the touchline between 2 managers. Normally you wouldn't be able to hear the details when a full crowd is there. It was certainly a dive and I can understand Frank's frustration, but Klopp was always going to defend his players too.

I can see this summer being a big Chelsea sale, a lot of deadwood to get rid of and just players who aren't good enough. I would wager at least two defenders, Emerson, Barkley, Batsuayi, Jorginho, Willian, Pedro (already confirmed) will be sold in the summer (or released in Willians case). And Kepa will probably go out on loan somewhere, doubt we'll be able to sell him. 

We should be able to coup a decent amount of money off that though, I'll be surprised if any of those players I just mentioned are playing here next season. Perhaps Barkley, but if we sign Havertz, I can definitely see Barkley going. Hopefully not Jorginho, but he's only playing now because Kante and Gilmour are injured, Frank clearly doesn't rate him.

With the amount we can raise from selling deadwood, we can fund a top CB, LB and probably a top GK as well

The trouble with the deadwood is actually finding a buyer ... much easier said than done !
