That was just horrid had it not been for the red card we could have lost that it was that bad pass pass pass pass it’s not even control possession cross cross cross cross pass pass pass.

Our players are like lamp poles absolutely no movement compared that to city they are like a 5 year old on a sugar high buzzing around with movement.

With regards to?

You said he's done nothing since making his big move, how were we supposed to see that when we bought him? At the time he was podsibly the most wanted young player in football.

This team is getting worse

no creativity

so predictable

same pattern every week

getting harder to watch

time for a change of manager coz if he thinks he’s doing well he’s deluded

I think that game saved Lampards job. But where do we go from here? Can we really persist with playing like against the likes of Leicester? Something has to change in the way we play, and it's worth giving Callum the nod over Pulisic for the time being.

Happy we've won, but I'm not confident against Leicester.

It was always going be Mount that saved him from the brink, wasn't it?

I'm afraid that Atletico Madrid will totally destroy us, here's hoping that we step up against better opposition but that hasn't really been the case this season...

So what's hindsight got to do with it when I'm just stating the facts? Its not like I said we should never have signed him, I'm saying I don't get this tag as a generational talent. As for being the most sought after, I dunno, this time last year I had never even heard of him. Not many people did.

Jesus, this is harder than it needs to be.

At the time we bought him he was rated as a generational talent, one if the most sought after young players in football. We had an opportunity to buy him so did. The fact he hasn't played well since the move doesn't suddenly mean he wasn't highly rated when we signed him. And you reckon not many had heard of him? Don't be so f**king ridiculous.

We had an excuse losing to them as they were the best team out there but now... It's going to be hard to watch if we look at how poor we have been.

Pass Pass Pass, Cross Cross Cross is 100% true. Painful to watch.

IMO this game has sealed Lampard's fate at the club. He has no ability to properly set up a team. We have went from free flowing attacking football at the beginning of 19/20 to absolute sh*t in 20/21 despite signing plenty of good players.

He just has no clue what he is doing.

If Frank decides to pay 4-3-3 with the same players against Leicester he will lose the game 100%. Hope he realizes that. If he loses to Leicester he might be either gone or under the sort pf pressure no Chelsea manager have ever survived.

He will play the 4-3-3 just with Kante and not Jorginho...

I don't think the players are the issue. It's the play. Everything is two touch and look for an overlapping full back. No one is making a run, cutting between lines. No one is looking to play a through ball. It's turgid.

Werner and CHO are two exceptions, but the first one can't control the ball or shoot and the second is never being played.

Same manager and team that went on the unbeaten run earlier in the season.

I would love to say that the run meant something but look at the teams Chelsea did beatin the PL. Not one can be rated a top side.

Come on lads chill out with all the negativity, this game was never going to be easy against a team which set up with a low block and are actually in much better form than us.

We've managed to come away with 3 points and more importantly some confidence, hopefully with the addition of Reece and Kante we can start building on the win.

Refreshing to see some positivity.

3 points was the most important thing here. Obviously we would all have loved a stellar performance but the way I see it every win is a potential kickstart to the season. So hopefully we can kick on from here and beat Leicester as well. That game will be huge for the club and Lampard's future.

How long are we going to keep hearing this though?

Fulham played against Spurs during the week and a Cup game last weekend same as us. And they looked fresher than us for most of that game, every time Pulisic had the ball they were immediately on to him, we just looked lethargic and slow.

Something is not quite right in this side at the moment. We've had more time to prepare against Fulham and did we really look better off? They had 10 men and looked very comfortable for about 30 minutes. Let's not sugar-coat it, this was piss poor, absolutely piss poor, delighted with the 3 points don't get me wrong but I can't let that paper over the cracks, this team is in trouble.

It's going to take a miracle for us to turn this around I think, we are devoid of ideas, I'm dreading the Atletico game. This is why I'm not against the idea of sacking Lampard now and getting an interim manager in to salvage the season and see if we can get something out of it, because with the way things are going now I can see this being nothing but a waste of 5 months. And with Lampard’s resume as a manager, I don't see the evidence that he's got what it takes to turn this around, motivate the players or come out of nowhere with a Plan B that will galvanize the players into a strong position or trophy.

Sacking Lampard and getting in someone who is able to set up the team and properly manage the players is the only way we might have a chance for a top 4 finish this season. It just has to be done at this point.
