Even Lampard took years before English fans even recognize him as a good player

Mount and Grealish are very capable as an 8 with the more defensive Henderson behind. It’s a solid midfield. 

No Silva and Kante. 

Henderson is levels below Kante and most England CBs nowadays are slow and is average at reading the game.

Also great defensively tracking runs and pressing with intent..but with Foden’s performance ppl are unlikely to put the spotlight on him.. he can continue to develop quietly.

Mount is pretty okay. He is a good footballer. I feel Southgate will select him for England for Euro's. He is so versatile the gaffer can slot him in any midfield position. 

IMO the more games he gets the quicker he will develop into a brilliant player.

Yeah he’s already good but my god he can be devastating. Excited to see what he can do in a couple of years time.

He's already a very good player and is still young. Probably more advanced than Lampard was when he first joined us, key is whether he can really take the next step to being elite like Frank did.

He is becoming the model professional for every youth player out there. Always available,  no complaints,  gets stuck in and always puts in 7/10 performances.

    Really irks me that the gobby, ill-informed opinions of the twitterati and weatherspoons massive has got enough attention that Frank is being questioned about it. Hope that he and Mason are both well aware that 99% of us know just how well he is doing.
