Mason Mount

The most important player in our team for me, he’s the heartbeat. Makes the team tick and a lot of the work he does goes unrecognised. He’s developing in to an incredible central midfield player. He will be a mainstay in this side for a decade, much to the annoyance of some of football Twitter. How you cannot rate this boy is beyond me. He bleeds blue and gives 110% every game, you cannot ask for more as a supporter.

My fav action was when he got shoved and the red didn’t give him anything.. 5secs after that he gets up and gives an almighty shove to the opposition player sending him to the ground.. I like that in a player.. a lol bit of a mean streak.. I remember a few years back when ya ya slapped mata and he didn’t respond..

He’s the sort of player Klopp would Mount into a world class CM.

I was worried for Mount early in the season being played at LW but thankfully he has been moved central and he has really stepped up another level. It’s frightening to think where he could be in 3/4 years time.

What a weird thing to say

How touchy.

I refer to the experience Klopp has with using a high intensity press and Mount’s attitude to playing this way.

Lampard is already making him world class, I didn't see what player did Klopp develop in that position anyway since most of his midfielders have always been older than Mount.

Instead of sobbing uncontrollably at the thought of anyone criticising Lampard, which I didn’t, try reading the reply again.

For what it’s worth, Lampard’s handling of Mount is far superior to that of Pep with Foden.

Mario Gotze was 17 when Klopp brought him through or does football only exist in the Premier League?

Just weird to randomly bring klopp into it. He's a rivals manager and no normal chelsea fan would think he could turn Mount into a better player than Lampard has

His pace is really underrated. On and off the ball. He has this similar style to De Bruyne where he plays a pass and then goes for the one-two and he is extremely difficult to track when he does that. He just breezes past the opposition player. Such an intelligent player. Always anticipating the next move. I am sure more goals will arrive too. Top player.

Foden gets a lot more publicity than Mount but I’d much rather have Mason.

The wording as opposed to intention made it a weird read. Lampard hasn’t had experience whereas Klopp has. It was not a specific dig at Frank but more highlighting the potential of Mount in comparison to someone Klopp has previously brought through. As I mentioned, Gotze at 17, was a quality product who went on to win pretty much everything.

Did it though? Or are you just a c**t?

Although it’s probably difficult for you, I’ll let you try and work that out. I love it when weirdos attempt to use abusive language online but would cower into a crumbling mess in person. Now that’s the definition of a c**t.

Name 1 young midfielder he had developed in Liverpool. He had 1 guy Gruic that is a flop. Gotze came from the Dortmund academy, they have had many young talents not just him and not just under Klopp so that 1 example didn't really make the rule.

So because Klopp gave him the chance it doesn’t count? What a f**king stupid argument.

Your own argument is that Klopp would make Mount world class, as if Lampard hasn't been doing that ever since he started his career as a manager.

I'm not saying that Gotze doesn't count, I'm saying that you still can't name 1, just 1 young midfielder that Klopp developed in Liverpool and how much has he been in Liverpool half a decade now?
You can look back to Dortmund and see if a manager that has been doing that job for over a decade managed to take under his wing 1 good player, obviously you will find at least 1 but has he done it ever since he came to Liverpool, which is actually the highest point in his career? No he hasn't.

So my argument is actually this: Klopp wouldn't make Mount as good as Lampard has done.
