Watching the Pulisic goal back his run is outstanding, threw the defender off by going one way then the other to get ahead of him. 

Just seeing that pass from Jorginho again for Tammy's goal, unreal!

Then why isn't VAR letting us have any penalties then? When they look at our ones, they aren't giving them. Remember the foul on Azpilicueta against Norwich? it was as clear a penalty as you will see. The ref didn't give it, and VAR didn't overturn his clear and obvious error either. There seems to be one rule for us and another rule for the rest of the league.

I thought so as well Dean in real time. But the slow-mo showed clear contact. VAR got it right. Imagine if that was Matip on Tammy in their box at Anfield. Every single one of us would be going mental if that hadn't been given.

Yet when Callum Hudson Odoi felt contact the reason was "Yeah but he pulled out of the challenge" "It wasn't enough contact to go down" 

If Liverpool lost today we'd be officially in the title race, their performances are dropping in quality though, I think we're a dark horse

Yes there was contact but the player did not go down from it. He took another step then decided to go to ground. No pen.

We could finish the game perfectly, I think that was VAR's mistake but we shouldn't play the ball there. Kovacic or Jorginho had to kick the ball out of the area.

Decent performance, I think Foster has put a good performance , made great saves from Tammy, Mount, Pulisic. 

Our defence was good, Zouma is the MOTM for me. Tammy had a decent game, Pulisic except his goal was poor, Willian few brilliant moments, but overall not good enough.

Anyways, we are continuing our good form, that's fantastic. Let's face Ajax!

If the push on CHO wasn't a pen and the kick on Azpi wasn't either for VAR, how can this one be?

VAR should of overruled the penalty because Kovacic was fouled when he made the pass to Jorginho on the edge of the 6yd box. It was clear and obvious on replay, but obviously overlooked by VAR.

It's not consistent at all. It's still all in the mind of the ref that will always have his feelings mixed into whatever he wants to see or hear. This time it was  enough that there was contact, players are protected by these rules and are using them and they train to use them, the Neymar school of modern football, you need to sell that you got hit and that you otherwise would have made it to the ball or scored, if not for that little contact...

So Callum being around many players alone couldn't sell it even if he was clearly pushed by only one player. Why? Because the ref is biased and he automatically thinks that Tammy is in a hard spot there so he must be trying to get a penalty because otherwise it's too hard to get around all those players. I'm a bit projecting here but the point is, it's all bullsh*t.

Idiot.Foster just told BBC that he think a draw would have been a fair result. I haven't heard a more idiotic comment in years! We should have won this by 3-4 minimum

Well obviously if it was Matip on Tammy in their box - cast iron! Here, I’ll concede some and go with maybe. One of these days, we’ll get one in our favour and we’ll all be happy. Btw, excessive-dicking-around-in-our-own-box aside, Kova really good including in the final third, no? Some would-be assists and even (I had to rub my eyes) a shot on target!

But the ref and VAR people choose to only look at the situation that is basically 0.5 of a second. Remember when Liverpool wanted Var to take away the ManU goal because of a foul that happen long before the goal? Well in their case, Var was almost going to go so much far back, only for the sake of the argument if this didn't happen = none of these things would have happen either...It's all bullsh*t.

If that's the case how come CHO was booked for diving after being pushed in the back last week at Burnley? So in the end, it's still a judgment call from some c**t in front of the monitor. Today it was Mike Dean, so I just knew we're going to get f..ked.

Exactly. That certainly wasn't a clear error to overturn as is supposedly the rule with VAR. There was certainly some contact even thought Jorginho was withdrawing his leg. But any marginal contact did not cause the Watford player to fall. He threw himself to the ground when he knew he had knocked the ball out for a goal kick. Had the ref given the penalty straight away you could argue there wasn't enough to overturn it. But equally since he didn't give the penalty initially, there wasn't enough to warrant changing the decision. This will only add more scrutiny to VAR. If anything is just being used to justify referee bias from what I have seen.

If i noticed it on tv replay then VAR has no excuse for missing it.

Nervy finish, but all three points, which is more than the other London clubs can say against this lot. 
 

Played well. Pen was probably a pen, but definitely lite and we have not gotten the same call a few times this year.

Nice to win these type of games. 

Kepa with the nice save on Foster at the end.

Exactly. Or if you're the ref you will say that the player tried to continue but since he got fouled he just couldn't and eventually it took away from his momentum.
It's very obvious to me that he knew he can't do anything from that angle so he remembered to use the penalty card and try and sell that he was obstructed. It's not fair.

Very solid performance bar the last 5 nervy minutes. But for their keeper we should have won by 4-5 and he nearly f**king scored!

Thought Zouma was great today - some very important challenges but Jorginho was my MOTM as he was exceptional and I love his passion and how he won't take any sh*t from anyone.

Kovacic was good for large parts but their (incorrect) penalty was down to him and he does play a risky game at times in areas where he shouldn't but he was great going forward today, if still no goal threat.

But VAR, boy am I sick of it. Went against us last w eek and again this week. If we had not got the three points today it would have been a complete travesty. That little w**ker Deulofeu, was looking for a little touch and then clearly dived. Should have got a yellow card and then one of our players should have put their foot on the little f**kers head to give him something to roll about.

Thankfully justice was done in the end, otherwise, what with the dippers late two goals and us losing the WC rugby, I would be looking for a length of rope and the nearest roof beam!

The irony is VAR was sold to us as something that would get rid of exactly that kind of inconsistencie, yet its done the exact opposite ha ha. Bunch of f**king clowns.

To be fair he is bound to say that as a Watford player. Not to mention he played so well today he probably cannot believe he was on the losing team.
