People that hate us will probably be saying how we bought the ref...I sense it already. Fact is Ajax players made several hard fouls during that attack and had a handboy as well, given the situation the ref reacted very well.

About right. Abraham was very poor and I thought CHO was awful. Must admit I'm still to get on the CHO bandwagon. I'm not convinced he has the potential others think he does. The flip side is that James once again showed he is ready for the step up.

True. Because we would have sat in our box protecting ourselves from the smashes. Fair play to Ten Hag. Goes down to 9 men and then atatcks us. Gets a corner and floods our box leaving 1 on 1 at the back against CHO.

Would we have had the stones to have done this in the same circumstances. I doubt it.

But i'm taking it for what it is, cos against a counter attacking 9 men i reckon Man Utd and Arsenal would have gone on and lost that game tomight.

Uefa have confirmed it was for handball. Ridiculous booking in my opinion. Criminal in fact. There's nothing he could do. He was literally trying to pull his hand away, but there was no time. If the rules say it was a booking, why wasn't Abraham booked as well, when our goal was disallowed?

Tammy's handball wasn't given a yellow because he's on our team. If I have that right because it's such a grey area

Exactly. It was a farcical decision. We got off the hook big time tonight. Even against 9 men we looked capable of losing it. The youngsters, possibly understandably, had no idea how to take advantage of the tow man advantage and the more experienced players didn't seem able to influence them in the way you might expect.

You might be right, I don't know the rules, but I maintain the game's gone mad. That's never a booking in a million years.

It was a clear handball. The shot was 100% on target, he stopped it with his hand. I don't know what else can be said there...Tammy didn't see the ball, Veltman was fully aware of what he was doing.

I think that's where Lampard showed his inexperience. Having said that, we had more than enough chances to win it, although they had one or two of their own.
