The Sevilla team was not the same team that played the rest of the group games, completely different.

I wouldn't want to play down our result just because Sevilla had some key players injured, they have been a really strong team either way.

In either situation I would find it to be a toll on my mental health.

I'm not saying he has struggled mentally, I'm arguing against your point that it's unlikely because he's rich.

I was commenting that I would rather move to another country being a millionaire than not. I believe it would help the situation being rich, having everything set up for you, leading a better life than the majority of people. Hardly having to worry about anything in life.

Regarding mental health well its obvious anyone can suffer from mental health issues. I have and still do myself. I believe in some people the suffering of mental health issues can be eased by having money. If I was a millionaire I would drive nice cars, women, own gym, holidays and that just touches the surface. My mental health issues would still be there but I believe it would help with the suffering. With getting help that's just obvious when you have to wait days rather than months or years.

Why is it a foreign concept that if you have money, you can also be depressed and struggle mentally?

mostly because people who have money have access to a lot of luxuries and facilities that can help them ie personal psychologists, no issue with making more money, a comfortable home in a comfortable neighbourhood etc²

Most people can't relate to depressed rich people problems because most people don't belong to the top 1~5% category.

I don't believe that Kai has struggled mentally despite the fact that he had covid and that he didn't have a pre-season and so on.

People that say that he has been terrible are wrong though, he has had multiple decent games and he isn't far from Mount when it comes to end product, in fact I believe that he has a better end product than most of our attacking players in him. His potential and ceiling is probably one of the highest and comparable to the likes of the best young players in the league I think.

Yes i hope so, but no denying at the moment he's becoming a bit of a luxury player.

I think Ballack was right about what he said, Kai just needs more time. Like he said, as it stands he simply has to fight for his spot since many players are doing exactly that and the level here is higher than in Leverkusen so it's all up to him to show that he has the will to fight for his spot.

I personally think that CHO managed to do a great job rotating centrally and getting into open areas around the box on that right hand side against Spurs but I also think that Tuchel has a plan for Kai, specially once we stop playing with 3 cbs... We need more goals, more big chances and there is where he should contribute.

Time for another hatrick!! Hope he starts tomorrow, its been documented he has quite a slow start to the season and then comes alive.

That's is exactly what we could do with now similar to Pulisic last season, we need an inform attacked leading up to the business end of the campaign. This guy was signed to be a franchise player (in the future) hopefully he can start to justify it in the present

I hope Tuchel gets the best out of him, maybe it's too early so both Tuchel and Kai need more time but we should just be patient since we have great young players to build the team around.

Pulisic, Havertz, Mount, Tammy, CHO, James, Gilmour... All of them can be our new generation that wins titles, we just need to survive this season and reach top 4.

Apparently he has a muscular problem although some are reporting he may be intentionally kept out of the team as Tuchel prepares him for the upcoming fixtures, giving him more time on the training ground in reality it could be a bit of both

Absolutely love the idea of a front 2 of Werner-Havertz in the long run. We have to give these 2 some time to settle in, for Werner to find his scoring boots and Havertz to build some muscle, but ultimately I'd like to see these two up front.

What's made Harry Kane so undefendable this season is that on top of a striker he's decided to become a midfielder. Sure spurs are garbage but that Kane-Son combo has been an absolute streak of genius this season. I know Werner and Havertz are completely different types of players but I believe their pairing could be equally fluid, flexible and unpredictable.

Could picture this in the future with a back 3...

--------Werner-Havertz---------

-------------Mount-------------

Alonso---Reece--Kovacic---CHO

----Rüdiger---Silva------Azpi---

-------------Mendy-------------

...or a back 4

--------Werner-Havertz---------

Pulisic---Reece--Kanté-----CHO

Chilwell--Silva---Zouma----Azpi

-------------Mendy------------

My ideal formation for next season would be a 4-1-4-1 with some new players

        Mendy/Donnarumma

James "T.Silva" Tomori Chilwell

      *Toure/Vieira type of a CM*

CHO  Havertz  Mount  Pulisic

           Werner/Tammy

I've wondered if it could be that too.

Taking him out of the limelight and allow him to have a "restart" after a few weeks break doesn't sound like the worst idea in the world.

We need a real complete CM to accompany Mount-Havertz duo.

Well that's definitely true if we play a back 4 (4-4-2 / 4-1-4-1). With our current back 3 (3-4-2-1 / 3-4-1-2) we could play Mount, Havertz and 2 CMs.

In either case I think it's time we throw Reece in there and see what he can do. I just feel like with his skillset he could make a stunning CM

You think Havertz could do a job at centre forward?.

He can but I see him behind a striker at his best where he would have both the IQ to make a good run and the skill to make a good move for Werner.

I hate to say it so early in his career but it feels like Torres 2.0. Maybe Carjacker was right, we should have only bought him if we had a specific plan.

He was hyped up to be the next world class player as a certainty, we just couldn't pass up the opportunity at the time. We took the risk and now have to deal with it.
