December 7, 20205 yr the moment Lamps said in the press conference that we are fully fit this was bound to happen..

I think that's positive, particularly with Hakim. With Callum we didn't know what to expect - he got an injury in training a couple of days ago. We'll see.
December 13, 20205 yr This guy is turning into our new hazard. Team is entirely different when he is playing
December 18, 20205 yr Honestly can’t wait for him to return. Clearly our most important attacker so far, brings the best out of everybody including Havertz.
December 21, 20205 yr I've always advocated football should have assists like hockey (last two passers get an assist)
December 21, 20205 yr The guy's vision is incredible. Some people are comparing him to Mahrez. Yeah their dribbling styles are similar but Mahrez isnt anywhere near Ziyech in terms of vision.
December 21, 20205 yr I just have this horrible feeling that Ziyech is going to have more injuries to come...

January 3, 20215 yr Has been one of the bright spots this season but shouldn't have started today. At times seemed disinterested and I thought early on he should be subbed 'cos his head dropped. Souness just giving him a caning for the third goal where City counter but he just stands there with hand on hips. Hope he doesn't become one of those luxury players as the supporters will soon turn of him if he does too much of that.
January 3, 20215 yr Annoyed me greatly today. Left Azpi stranded a dozen times and his entire demeanour and body language looked way off.
January 3, 20215 yr Should not have started the game, but I guess desperate time calls for desperate measures. Usually Lampard is cautious with players from injury, read it as desperate attempt, or he had no faith in CHO

CHO was our best player against Villa, so dropping him was bizarre. Ziyech was not at the races today - like most of the team - and he needed to come off earlier than he did.

As good as he has been, a 20-30 min appearance from the bench would have been appropriate. Especially harsh on CHO who has been good in recent games.
