February 28, 20242 yr I have criticized poch for not playing more kids but I am talking more in midfield and backline. On the front end, we already have two "academy" player in Mudryk n Madueke that need to get minutes.

Hopefully some good loans for all of them in 24/25 (not sure the 5 of them are ready to play in PL yet ?) I did notice that we've climbed up to 4th in the PL2 table. Big strides from where we were earlier in the season. Also noticed that they've been playing 3-4-3 in the recent upturn of form, and not once 4-2-3-1 in any game so far. I thought it was strange that we are developing our youth in a different formation to what the first team are playing. I guess that's down to our wonderful Directors of Football LOL. Of that bunch, from what I have seen at least Tyrique George looks like the most exciting prospect.
March 16, 20242 yr Is Broja injured again ? Not in the matchday squad vs Tottenham today ... he did get an assist in the last Fulham fixture so they've got something for their £4m LOL even if it didn't help secure any points :-)

I reckon Broja now will get the same minutes Andrey Santos does.

Andrey has actually started for Strasbourg today ! Strasbourg winning 2-1 with a third of the game left, and Santos is pulling a 7.5 Whoscored rating as it stands ! March 16, 20242 yr Was half expecting Fulham to start him, kick it straight out of play then sub him straight off for the remaining games. Edited March 16, 20242 yr by Argo

Can't see him getting any more minutes for Fulham now Jimenez is back, he's not good enough to be a squad player at PL level. I'd call it a successful loan for us getting £4m but it won't help the player and we'll struggle to move him on this summer unless he's willing to drop to a level more suited to his ability.

I doubt there will be too many offers for him at the prices we were supposedly looking for. Maybe we will be able to sell him to a Championship team.
March 17, 20242 yr Sounds like Fulham rather pay the 4M than letting him play, enough said about how they rate him. At least he got the odd starts and cameos at Chlesea, this loan is a completely waste of time ( so far), apart from the the money collected ( which is what CFC is all about right now )
March 17, 20242 yr Most of our loans are a waste of time. I don't know why clubs go to the effort of signing a player on loan if they have no interest in actually playing them.

Wolves only wanted a loan as well we were apparently offering him out to clubs for £25m late on but no takers. I don't like the ownership but not sure anyone can criticise this loan, getting £4m and Broja not playing is the perfect loan for us. It's fantastic business if selling him wasn't possible.
March 18, 20242 yr Unfortunate that Muniz turned into Erling Haaland after a run of 1 goal in 17 games the day after Broja arrived . Muniz's 6 goals in 7 games is a return for a striker we at Chelsea haven't seen since Diego Costa days. This is the same Muniz that had 2 goals in 17 games for Middlesborough in the championship. It just goes to show you should never give up on a striker. Edited March 18, 20242 yr by Erik
March 18, 20242 yr There's a reason Fulham arent playing Broja, and its because hes sh*t. We need to accept whatever offer we can and sell him to the highest bidder

May 30, 20242 yr Lequipe is also reporting the deal may potentially include add-ons and a sell on clause so we can probably expect a very low transfer fee.
May 31, 20242 yr 37 minutes ago, DidierDrogbalala said: Can't believe we turned down 30 mil from Wolves last winter Broja always seemed like a good prospect, hindsight is a bitch. He's extremely physically gifted, but there's just something there that's not helping his game grow, had plenty of chances this season and didn't take them. I thought Broja would be a top player, the injury might've been a big setback for him. We saw this with CHO and RLC, they were never the same players after their longterm injuries.
May 31, 20242 yr We’ll get our pants pulled down as usual. Other way round we’d have to pay £35-£40m for him
