November 9, 20205 yr The failed lob was probably him celebrating in his head before executing it because the way he scored that last goal was super ice cold

Its almost like he wants to impress so much.

Would prefer that be 20+ in the PL plus other comps on top. He’s a goal scorer - plain and simple. If he's on pens he will comfortably make 30 in my opinion.
November 21, 20205 yr I know he wasted a couple of big chances today but he was unselfish, get going and didn’t hide afterwards. He also done brilliantly for Tammy’s goal. He’s a dangerous player whose goal and assist record is very good. I’m very happy with Turbo Tim.
November 21, 20205 yr Definitely agree he needs to be more clinical. His determination and personality are assets to this team though - others would have gone into hiding.
November 21, 20205 yr For some reason he looked a bit down on confidence, maybe that 6-0 beating took a toll, because he's not usually as profligate in front of goal, but boy that run was for TAs goal was fabulous.
November 21, 20205 yr It's understandable if it takes him a week or so to shake off that nightmare 6-0 beatdown from the Spaniards on Tuesday. His 1st shot needed a nice save and a nice little pass to Mount that led to the OG. Most impressed with his flat out speed on that long drive that he laid off to Tammy
November 22, 20205 yr Should have smashed the goal when he had that 1v1 with the keeper otherwise it was an ok performance
November 24, 20205 yr Poor couple of games, could do with a rest I think. Maybe bring CHO in on the left, or Pulisic if he's almost fit.
November 24, 20205 yr I said before we bought him that this is his way. He scores lots and he misses lots. He needs to take a large volume of shots to be effective. Thankfully he has been getting lots of shots so far.
November 24, 20205 yr Missed 3 sitters in the last 2 games, hope he's saving them up for the cocks down whl.
November 25, 20205 yr Rest him. He was gassed out by min 45 but the threat he brings is lethal so I can understand why Frank lets Timo play the whole 90. With the way he's playing and our chance creation, he'll score boatloads
November 25, 20205 yr Have to be critical of him, he does miss a lot of easy chances... But then he goes and scores or assists a goal thats so much harder! Still a fan of him, and Im sure he'll be bagging goals, just needs to be more lethal
November 25, 20205 yr As frustrating as the misses are at least he's getting himself into the positions to take them in the first place. Looked rusty the last couple of games and wouldn't be surprised if he didn't start the next couple of games in Europe.... No way he doesn't start against Spurs though, he's too good not to.
November 25, 20205 yr Not really surprising he has been struggling for form since the International break, Germany got an absolute battering and since he has been travelling and playing football without any real downtime. The next 4 days should do him a world of good and help him get into a better frame of mind and I am hoping Pulisic will be fit enough to give him a break at the 60 minute mark on the weekend.
November 25, 20205 yr His workrate is phenomenal. We really need his high pressing and attitude but he does miss some chances. He really needs to be main striker and get his confidence back in front of goal. He generally finishes with power and has more success but lately he’s been taking time and side footing shots and he’s nowhere near as lethal. He has the JFH type of approach where he is better when finishing with power.

I felt the first miss last night was unlucky, the ball came up as he was hitting it.
November 25, 20205 yr I think he looks knackered but I’m saying that, his workrate is unbelievable and he probably needs more rest than others. If we had a front 3 with his workrate, defenders would have an absolute nightmare.
November 25, 20205 yr I would play Ziyech and CHO on the wings, if Werner is rested he can start in the middle or on the bench if he's still recovering but he was really one of the worst players yesterday so I hope he can rest before the Spurs game.

Lampard agrees: “Timo wants to score that but the ball’s bobbling as it comes along and I know myself that those finishes look a lot easier from afar than they always are,” But then, he would say that wouldn't he.
