What a win. Biggest of the Lampard era. Frank got it spot on tactically tonight. That was peak Chelsea era. Soak up the pressure and then hit them hard. The mobility in midfield key again. Everyone covering everyone, negating City's movement and then Pulisic and Willian crucial on the counter attack. 

Great penalty from Willian to win it. That will go such a long way to getting top 4 and we deserved it. There will be a lot of bollocks about Liverpool tonight but we were the real story. Huge win from a City team who only got as close as they did thanks to a peach of a free kick from KDB.

One point behind Leicester. Let's win them in the Cup and show who should be third.

Why am I watching Liverpool during a Chelsea vs Man City

We can win at least 3 out of the next 5 games, we can hold on to the top 4 till the end now, we decide our own fate.

Whole season we have criticized our defense for a fair reason, but today we looked very solid in the back.

We conceded a beautiful free-kick, but honestly it was their biggest chance to score.

Important win, we need at least 5 wins to secure our CL spot. Good job by the team. COME ON CHELS!!

Surely that off the line clearance isn’t our attackers fault, Pulasic  did everything right, didn’t miss any sitters and everything we got in their half was dangerous.

Kovacic/Barkley and Gilmour for me for next season. Kante is good as a Deep DM nowadays. Him being too gung ho has left a lot of spaces in behind but him as a DM does a great job.

Can we avoid saying a kid should start because of one pass in 10m of space against 10 men?

It totally neglects the fact that Barkley, Kante and Mount shut down the City midfield for 90 minutes before then and covered the fullbacks so well to negate City. 

Barkley, although he tired, was particularly spectacular tonight. I'm not a fan at all but he was superb. Kante and Mount did less with the ball but were superb without it. Only blemish is the foul from Kante in the lead up to the City goal.

i count one pass that was off (so did Keppa, Barkley and the others) and the goal was wordly.. when we played them at the etihad.. Jorgi passed the ball straight into their player for the first one.. and then couldnt cover ground for the second...
