Captain America with 7 goals and 2 assists in 13 starts this season and he was injured as well. 

I knew he was a special player, I wonder if at least half of those that thought that we signed him only because of marketing since he's from the US have changed their minds by now, he's a great player.

 

BT Sport is a f**king disgrace. They should be doing the analysis of the game and interviews with managers before they started the Liverpool w**kfest. They even spoke to Pep before Lampard, embarrassing.

I can't believe Chelsea fans are more upset about media coverage than celebrating a great win. 

Looks like the media are not the only ones obsessed with that lot.

This has been a myth for far too long.

Majority of people in the US do not follow soccer, and even less buy a soccer jersey. If anyone think they can make money from jersey sales off of an American player, they need to find a new job.

It’s not really that simple when they’re the only channel that airs the chelsea game is it?

It has zero to do with Liverpool winning the league. I couldn’t give a f**k. Congratulations to them, they were by far the best in the league all season. 

It’s a broadcasters job to be independent and cover the game they’ve literally just shown. Not act like a clubs fan channel. 
 

It is possible to be delighted with a result and unhappy about something at the same time - they are not mutually exclusive emotions. What a strange opinion.

Massive 3 points Chels get innnn. Need to keep this momentum going now and finish the season strong. 

BT sport should be ashamed of themselves disgusting Scouse w**kfest from start to finish instead of praising what for the most part was a great performance from the boys in blue.

 

A game that really could have gone either way. Two superb goals, clear chances missed by both teams. 

In the end city made 1 more big mistake than we did that was punished.

Lot of hard work and a big slice of luck went in to that. Well done Lamps and the lads.

It has been a disturbing w**kfest on bt sport as far as liverpool are concerned from the moment they got the rights to show any football a few years back. 

Don't care about Liverpool. Them winning the title was a mere formality.

What makes me happy today is seeing the strong progress we're making under Frank. I make no qualms in saying that we'll be contending in years to come, and we've been improving since the United loss in February.

Pulisic has been a revelation since the restart. A fantastic prospect for the club, and someone who is very reminiscent of Hazard in his style of play.

The match could have gone either way, but great to have some luck on our side.

This has been one of the most enjoyable seasons in a number of years for a multitude of reasons. We have Frank coaching us, we've blooded youth players and given them proper game time, we've exceeded the expectations of most people and there's finally a sense of optimism that we're heading in the right direction as a football club.

Securing CL football is the top priority. If we can somehow win the FA Cup that would be the icing on the cake.

It was like a Cup Tie at times, with both teams just going for it .

Some great saves by both keepers and some awful defending.

Thankfully one piece of the awful defending by City led to our first goal

I put the sound down early on as I was already fed up about the references to another team possibly winning the title.

Fair play to De Bruyne or their equalising goal. It was a great free kick.

I can't get upset about this at all. Chelsea fans should just enjoy the win and the fact that that lot had to urge us on and celebrate wildly both of  our goals ! Their title will forever be linked to a famous Chelsea win !

It's also not that simple when DURING THE GAME when CHELSEA scores or has a chance they cut to bloody liverpool fans reacting. What in the world was that sh*t. I think my channel is the BT feed (?) had michael owen and some other tossers and before the game they forgot to even show they had a Chelsea fan cam at all.

Great win, I felt we were the better team and deserved to win and more importantly keeps our momentum going into the last 7 games of the league. 

 

This could still be a good season for us if we can win the FA Cup and finish on the top 4. Exciting times with the new additions coming in for next season. I really think we're going to surprise a few people next season.
