I’m not usually keen on Barkley in general, but I agree. He’s been good tonight!

I agree. Barkley has probably been the best player on the pitch so far. Not much in the way of doing anything incisive, but he has held the ball well and not given it away in quite a few tight spots.

People love to jump on Barkley for any reason, but as you said he's been one of our better players. He's just frustrating at time as hes so inconsistent and makes silly mistakes, but on the whole I wouldnt still mind keeping him as a good backup option or cup game player for our midfield
