September 7, 20223 yr Just realized that we've still had a better start to the season than Liverpool, this sacking is unbelievable

I can see you’re hurting over this but don’t be ridiculous - Carlo was the worst sacking in our history, not only based on the timing and circumstances but in the manner it was done. This doesn’t even come close.

We exited the FA cup in the fourth round and the league cup in the 3rd round that season, Tuchel lost both finals on penalties. Ancelotti also had a squad containing, Cech, Terry, Ashley Cole, Essien, Lampard, Ivanovic, Anelka and Drogba. Tuchel's sacking is undoubtedly worse in my opinion

Which looks like a similar move to the one Todd is doing now with Tuchel and Potter.

September 7, 20223 yr Now I've had time to digest this I feel that something had to be done . The football was turgid , boring and quite frankly dreadful in the main. The team looked bereft of ideas and the effort being put in was pathetic( certain players so much worse than others ). Team arguing with each other , players on the pitch who shouldn't even be still at the club. Players being played out of position, and so it goes on . We all hoped that he could turn it round but I think he also fell out with the management for which he is well known. So he's gone onward and upward KTBFFH
September 7, 20223 yr Apparently he was under a "100 day review" when the new owners came and he was going to be fired regardless of if he beat Zagreb or not.

And the whole midfield need to be utilised better, not least Kai who still doesn't have a best position at Chelsea after 2 years.
September 7, 20223 yr Potter is too nice Our players will be uncontrollable. Pierre will show up days late for training.
September 7, 20223 yr Like everyone I've been scouring the internet for stories, Guardian's one has good insight apparently Bully & TT were basically not speaking to each other. A total breakdown in relationship between owner & coach, with TT publicly questioning the price Bully paid for some new signings and wanting to sell Broja for 30 mill to Pikeys as he's not CFC ready but Bully gave Broja a contract extension forcing TT to use him as a sub. etc. Some senior players had turned as well questioning tactics. Sacking inevitable and as stated above more than results. Edited September 7, 20223 yr by General
