I actually find us far more entertaining than franks later days I barely wanted to turn on the tele, I like the way we play actually, solid, control, for me better than 5-4’s or side to side passing, we pass a lot but we keep recycling and pass direct, over the top, crosses, high energy and tempo. Not boring at all for me. 

Anyone who thinks that isn't a penalty, watch it again and pay attention to how the defender took down Tammy's right leg

Can't criticise Tammy for that, by the time Tammy controlled the ball the defender was running full pelt at him. 

Not replacing the injured Abraham with either of Ziyech or Pulisic is pretty damming for the pair of them and is an indication of perhaps how little trust Tommy Tinkerman has in the both of them right now.

I think he puts the leg out into Lascelles a bit too whether he was trying to win a penalty.

Tammy is slightly touched prior to the tackle. But penalties can't be given for that surely. It's supposed to be a contact sport. 

Although that seems to not be the case anymore.

True. Still his acceleration after he received the ball was very bad.

I think Abraham has paid the price for something footballers have been doing a lot of in recent times, trying to force contact to win a penalty. If he doesn't move into the tackle, he doesn't get injured there.

Well sucks to lose a substitute on Tammy going out but I personally perfer Giroud anyway.
