FFS are you serious? Week after f**king week watching him trotting around waving his arms around. At best one average game in six.

This is embarassing post. Willian was one of our key player for years. Hated by fans but loved by managers because what he bring to the table is so important.

All fans see is bad decision in final third but manager see player who can keep the ball high, bring it from deep, protect his fb and press very well.

We may have won the match but my opinion of lukaku hasn't changed he is a £100 million fraud.

If he was a free signing I'd say he atleast done the basics but for a £97m signing not good enough and no one can blame service today either.

Lukaku didn't decide his pricetag. So that shouldn't be held over his head really. The club decided to pay it.

Thought he did well today. Attack looked fluid and dangerous and he was part of it. Good layoffs and gave Spurs defenders are lot to worry about.

Just beat Spurs and people still want to whinge about Lukaku? Christ....

Honestly, it is not a surprise especially when you read all the talk on half time was all about Lukaku.

We are playing goodand not bad of a game to watch but people still not happy. I think he needs to score like 5 goals in a game just to make them happy.🙄

why not play like this 4141 and Kai and play with Mount / Kovacic behind Lukaku. This System works for the attackers and dont need the wingback.

He is in no way fraudulent...He was happy to stay at inter and Serie A suits him..

He is trying his best..But PL is not gonna be easy for him..

Whoever valued him at that ridiculous price is the fraud..

Was an improvement second half..was trying had 1 or 2 shots, celebrating wildly for both goals.

Still not good enough for us though, so he just needs to get his head down and win us those points in those games against the lesser teams and it wont be a bad season. Dont hold much hope in the big games..his overall play is really bad. And when he doesnt score its just unbareable.

I’d even be happy with a goal every 3 games from him at the moment. Should have had one or two goals today yet one couldn’t hit the target and second one couldn’t even hit the ball.

Lewandowski did exactly that when he was doubted.

Take the win today and enjoy the fact that he wasn't terrible in the 2nd half

Well, in a way players do influence their own pricetags. Obviously the club decided to pay so he should be worth the money, no? It's not like it's his first time in the PL, he's the one signing that should find no difficulty nor time adapting to the league.

So what would you suggest as it appears TT is sticking to his guns here.

We choose for option 4 :playing to Ziyech strength and make Lukaku and Mount looks better win/win  for Tuchel and players. For us more good attacking football.

Left it a day as didn't want to ruin the post match vibe.

Whenever we win games that Alonso makes harder than it should have been he gets rightly criticised, same applies.

If I said nothing I would have got (not necessarily by you) accused of hiding. Sorry but it will take more than 90 minutes where he again missed big chances to win me round.

Put it this way, prime Diego Costa and the game is over at half time and we have 7 possibly 9 points in the past week instead of 4, he was signed to make that type of difference.

He needs to start making a big difference on games (when he signed I was told to embrace the flaws because he would score goals to make up for it) because against better opponents/ones without a raging inferiority complex it will and has cost us.

He kind of did. He could have stayed with us in 2014 knuckled down and patiently worked his way to becoming Diego Costa's long term successor. Then as a £18m signing he'd get a lot more leeway, well from me anyway (I'm running on the assumption if he was humble enough to do that way he wouldn't go round declaring himself on par with Lewandowski, Benzema etc).

His way has by enlarge worked for him (well atleast from an individual POV) but big price tag means big expectations.

When someone's first thought is to have a moan about a player after a good team performance against Spurs, I'm sorry but that's just sad.

Enjoy the moment, especially after a rough couple of months in the league.

To each their own though I suppose.
