oh great lukaku just got off injured

ffs! What's the details of the injury? Just our luck that this would scupper a move and we'll be stuck with him next season

well he got knocked over by Nathan Aké in running for the ball, then he got treated, then he played on for a minute and then he subbed himself off. He just walked straight into the tunnel. It might be a precaution.

Doesn't sound bad, if anything yeah he's trying to make sure he's fit for a transfer

Well according to Martinez. The reason is because our intention was not to win. Our intention was to play for the world cup.

Every single interview he gives, he turns like the wind and comes up with the most ridiculous excuses.

He has wasted our golden generation of players for sooo long. I will celebrate the day he leaves our national team. Assigning Martinez is the worst thing that has happened to the Belgian national team.

Belgium are just an incredibly overrated team.  Martinez is a poor manager but they don't have a striker good enough to challenge for trophies.

Anyone could bang in goals against Panama and San Marino with prime Hazard and KDB creating for them

But when Batshuyai and Origi are your 2 best strikers against decent opposition you're in trouble

Not really a surprise this generation has flopped in major tournaments once they get to the big boys in the knockout stages.

Pep often plays without a recognised striker so think this is more on Martinez.

Belgium tend to produce good attacking midfield players and have a great keeper though defence is often not the highest quality.

I guess as a nation they compare themselves to the Netherlands so yesterday was painful.

It really annoys me that he came back and basically f**ked it all up. As soon as he done that interview in December it killed his career here, the absolute mug.

Even Torres at his worst was a better player and offered more to the team.

Ah, seems like he ran. His body is not used to that.

I remember that I was impressed with him actually pressing and working hard for the team one game, then he was out for a few weeks.

His body is actually incapable of pressing or a lot of running.

Inter people are working through the press saying Rom wants to go and only to them, that we know that and they know that.

That they cannot sign him, cannot afford a loan fee and cannot pay his wages. Basically saying you have to pay him to play for us.

I can't abide the bloke as a footballer but if they think we will just give him to them we'll two words the second word is off first begins with F.

Latest update:

CFC have presented Inter with two options as it currently stands.

Number 1: Include Bastoni in Loan deal for Lukaku and cash to CFC

Number 2: Swap Lautaro with Rom. Inter replace Martinez presumably with Dybala who Inter are close to securing deal, but put on the back burner to focus on Lukaku.

My source says they will know more on Monday.

Personally I don't know if Bastoni is even on the market, but supposedly he is closer to signing for Spurs according to my source.

Dybala offered to a number of big clubs, Spurs rejected him because agent asked for £/€280-90k a week. Assuming CFC also turned him down for the same reason. He does have a deal in principle with Inter and this could be the key to Lukaku deal.

I'll update as I learn more

You and @JM7 with your sources. Anyone would think you work in the media lol.

Inters response to both offers is no BTW. They want Lukaku back but on their terms. I.e. the get him on loan, they pay no loan fee, no obligation to buy and Rom either takes a pay cut or we pay the difference.

No way we recoup the whole fee on Lukaku. We're just pissing in the wind with that ... the swap deal with Martinez is the only viable option with Inter by the sound of it - otherwise we are stuck with him. If he loses 10 kg in the off season then he might be useful.
