The worst thing about Chelsea is we have a brilliant squad and a brilliant manager and we make average sides look absolutely world class. Palmeiras had no chances and managed to score.

Tuchel also made a massive mistake on taking off Lukaku. Scored two in two and was the only player to have any presence in the box. We have nothing now in attack.

I think I am in a minority that really wanted us to win this. But to be honest, I think it would only be fair if they did. We’ve been utterly indifferent for most of it. Poor players and a coach that can’t seem to change anything. And they’ve been up for it, played well (despite not having a billion pound team) and their support is absolutely immense.

Will there ever be an explanation of why Ziyech wasn't involved in this final? What is Tuchel doing here, putting everyone else but our most creative attacking player? Pulisic didn't do anything and we have nobody good to take a set piece.

What have we supporters done to deserve this as punishment? I can think of a few things for myself, but those weren't illegal, merely frowned upon in some circles.

We said it many times on this forum over the last two years but we really do need a much better midfield. And it seems strange to say that when it's Jorginho, Kovacic and Kante we are talking about ...

Not using Ziyech is so baffling. TT has gone full blown Conte season 2 today.

We played quickly for about 15 minutes, scored our goal and then went back into our slumber.

If Tuchel can get us playing football at a faster pace he could potentially have this job for years.

It’s been like this for years though, adopting the slow, slow sometimes quick European model.

It’s 21c with 74% humidity.  Bit sweaty but not awful conditions
