April 17, 20224 yr 1 hour ago, just said: Diaz is new to this league and is already looking some player. Often cutting in from out wide like Werner but is technically much, much better in terms of touch / control and can dribble with the ball. Stop hating on him, he tries, which is more than our other striker does.....

Does not make them the better side they were just better than them in 2 games I’m sorry to have to disagree on this. They are still on the CL, fair enough, but we won it last season and have won this season the club World Cup or whatever is called. As for the PL, I repeat myself, if it weren’t for the refereeing they’d be on par with us. The same with the League Cup, we’d have beaten them if it weren’t for LiVARpool.
April 17, 20224 yr One of those days where the chant ‘you’ve had your day out now fcuk off home’ is just so appropriate. Palace virgins in their thousands giving it large as their team inevitably huffed and puffed…then lost. meanwhile us rather ‘spoilt’ chelsea fans just waited for the team to click a few times to win. really hope revenge is sweet against Liverpool in the final.

It seemed to get worse with Kova getting injured and Havertz getting a card for a probable dive when no-one these days gets carded for it. We were better in the 2nd and scored two good goals. Havertz's dribbling on the right and attempted cross gets deflected into the path of RLC who delivers a cracking shot into the net. Some time since he has scored for us and probably his best goal to date. Werner was trying hard and nice to see him get the assist for the next goal where Mount intercepted the ball and angled this as a forward pass that he pokes home expertly to give us the 2-0 lead. Yes we could have had more if Lukaku or Ziyech had been more clinical and Palace could have had one too. Werner MOTM - surprising. A good day all around: A Chelsea Men's Day 2-0 A Chelses Women's days 2-0 And a blue day north of the border as Rangers knock out Celtic. That’s two out of three for me, as I don’t like the Scottish blue team and I like the Scottish green team better. Blues brothers, my arse!
April 17, 20224 yr Poor first half. We wakened up eventually and won 2-0. I’d have taken a 2-0 win before the game.

No problem mate I respect your opinion. I guess another way I would put it is that personally I think they are as good a team as City and I feel we are a level below them.
April 18, 20224 yr 10 of us went yesterday and a couple of mates who have moved out of London who can't go very often said it and we all agreed our support is not great. Pre match in the pub it's good but inside it's probably cause we play these games all the time but it's half hearted a couple of carefree's and we've got TT and that's it. Palace were much louder than us but the 100 or so pound shop ultras all dressed in black even though they come from suburbia are so cringy it's unreal.

For example, Gullit describes his time at Stamford Bridge as some of the most fun he had in the game and has fond memories. We must be doing something right.

Good to hear though suspect winning your first trophy as a mangers must be pretty special and a good reason to remember us.

April 18, 20224 yr Reece James pockets Vinicius Jr. and Zaha in the same weekend. Not a peep. TAA sprays his 967th Long pass of the season, whole media creams in their pants.

I was in the lower tier at the back to the right of the goal. My section were always trying to sing but the acoustics sound so poor. Your right Bluehaze the songs you mentioned were louder but don’t understand with the other songs it doesn’t carry round.

April 18, 20224 yr Since 1997 we have had 10 F A cup finals at Wembley 10 F A cup semi finals at Wembley 5 League cup finals at Wembley 3 Finals at Cardiff 02, 05, 07, 3 F A cup semis at Highbury Old Trafford & Villa Park Does Wembley lose its appeal with semi’s being played there?

I think its a mix like you say just another game and our louder fans being spread about all around the stadium rather than a small section as they were.
April 18, 20224 yr Atmosphere wasn’t great our end…but think some benefit of the doubt is required here…as I inferred above, we have been ‘spoilt’ by annual visits to Wembley…for palace it was a rarity, of course it was more exciting for them…but also we have beaten palace something like 10 games in a row and they play dull football against us….not saying it’s right, but it’s understandable if people weren’t exactly up for it. I’ll be much more annoyed if there is a repeat v Liverpool when it matters. the home game against Madrid recently provides a positive contrast…big occasion against big opponents and we were loud throughout, even at 3-1 down.
April 18, 20224 yr We were certainly louder outside Wembley. The underground train I got at Kings Cross had more CP supporters and hardly any Chelsea, they were loud and cocky (“do you hear the Chelsea?” Etc) but as soon as we got to Baker St, the train crammed with Chelsea and the CP went all quiet and could not hear them any more. The same getting at Wembley Park Station and the avenue to the stadium. As soon as we got inside, everyone had dispersed and the Chelsea went quieter, true. We’ve also been quiet in games that have been boring as hell, like Brentford or yesterday’s first half. Second half we lightened up after the goal.
