Oh no, not this stat again. I remember this exact stat being used to try and justify signing Morata.

Tbf there's quite a difference between mins per goals and assists in La Liga vs EPL when acquiring a player. Especially since in this case it's a player from the same league. I don't think Jesus is the same as Morata these are two different circumstances personally and two completely different players/playstyles.

While Conte played Alvaro on the wing on occasions that just looked awkward whereas Jesus looks very comfortable out there.

Jesus is worse than havertz and Werner for my money. Can’t believe this is a serious suggestion.

Jesus is a better striker than Werner. His style of play also suits us to a tee. He is young, versatile, fast and blessed with an insane workrate and can also play across the front three attacking positions. His goal scoring ability is also better than Werners' and so is his link up play.

A couple year old videos but still highlights his ability.

Can finish with both feet, has great close control inside the box and as mentioned before great link up play.

Heavily reported TT likes him and I'm very in favour of this deal despite originally being slightly underwhelmed. It makes a lot of sense, I think his numbers would go up in a team that creates loads of chances but needs a confident forward who can play in this league and get goals.

I was happily going along with your statement until I got a very rude shock when I read ( about teams that creates loads of chances). We are piss poor in chances that lead to goal creation and would continue to be that until we sort out our midfield and inject more creative players. Hopefully, we get Dembele to add to that quotient. Alternatively, I think Ziyech can play as a creative 10 as opposed to Mount as a Hardworking 10. Having said that I think we would be mugs to allow Jesus to go to Arsenal contested when we can offer him CL football, more wages and better  chance of winning trophies. With Lewandowski now certain to go to Barca, we don't have too many options to replace Lukaku that fits our pattern to a T.

Apparently we are more interested in Sterling than Jesus.

Personally I think Jesus suits us better but if that what Tuchel or The Board want...

Source?

Simon Philips on Twitter and he's generally quite on the money.

It also said we want to be kept up to date with the progress of Arsenal's pusuit of Jesus.

Maybe get them to pay for his medical and do a Willian...

Simon Philips just retweets other sources nowadays. Not a direct correspondent.

Only attacker we will get (or can realistically get) is Dembele. Nothing concrete linking us to Jesus and Sterling will never join a club where its fans racially abused him.

Plus we won't ever entertain his contract demands on top of his transfer fee.

To be fair he tweeted it yesterday and other sources today including Sky Sports are now saying the same thing, that we prefer Sterling over Jesus and that Jesus is very close to joining Arsenal.

And if he were to flop; easier to shift on lower wages, and being Brazilian means there were be more suitors on the continent.

If we let Timo and Lukaku go we are in need of another striker. Having only Broja behind Havertz and then nobody else who can really play the striker role is a bit too risky for me for a long season. Jesus would fit in nicely as he is a versatile hard working forward. Is him going to Arsenal confirmed yet or could we still pull a Willian?

Amen to that brother. Technically he is so far ahead of Werner he is out of sight. But even Phil Neville looked technically gifted compared to Werner!
