My Haaland prediction proving spot on so far.

He'll score goals, lots of them, but he won't suddenly make City an even further level up.

If there's one positive about what Arsenal are doing is that it shows it is possible to compete with them regardless of how many records Haaland breaks.

Do you not think he improves them!!!

They are better of this year points wise than the previous 2 seasons.
Played 15  pts 35

20/21 played 18. Pts 36

21/22 played 19 pts 38.

If Haaland stays fit I think Arsenal have to break 100pts to take the league.

Compared to last year a lot of them were points that could have quite easily been less, all be it largely because of Haaland scoring but still.

I feel last year they were a borderline autopilot team that felt impossible to create against let alone score past, I don't feel it's as impossible to hurt them this time round.

Sobering thought for this evening ... Erling Haaland now has more PL goals for the season than our entire first team squad ... 20 vs 19 🙂

At the moment we cannot compete with them. Whether it is over the season or a one off match

Liverpool yes. Unknown about United.

It does seem to point to them getting very wealthy owners that will put them in the Newcastle and City stratosphere of rich.

Yeah well, but he is ugly.

Ahhh, good to be able to use this line again :JC_doubleup:

Middle aged man at Leeds last night dressed as a Smurf painted blue face the whole shebang why on earth would anyone think that's acceptable unless you're going to a fancy dress maybe.

I don't think it is a surprise that Haaland is scoring for fun.

I am more surprised with how quick both city and Haaland adapt to each other.

Has Haaland scored against any of the big premier clubs yet?

Haaland's PL stats so far:

  1. West Ham United (A) = 2 goals (2 in total)
  2. Bournemouth (H) = no goals (2 in total)
  3. Newcastle United (A) = 1 goal (3 in total)
  4. Crystal Palace (H) = 3 goals (6 in total)
  5. Nottingham Forest (H) = 3 goals (9 in total)
  6. Aston Villa (A) = 1 goal (10 in total)
  7. Wolves (A) = 1 goal (11 in total)
  8. Manchester United (H) = 3 goals (14 in total)
  9. Southampton (H) = 1 goal (15 in total)
  10. Liverpool (A) = no goals (15 in total)
  11. Brighton (H) = 2 goals (17 in total)
  12. Leicester City (A) = injured (17 in total)
  13. Fulham (H) = 1 goal (18 in total)
  14. Brentford (H) = no goals (18 in total)
  15. Leeds United (A) = 2 goals (20 in total)

May as well include Newcastle as they're becoming a part of the "big 7" now.

West Ham trailing Brentford at home - another goal for Toney.

Moyes will be under pressure. Could be between him and Lamps as to who is next to get the sack.

Unbelievable!

2 own goals from the same player.

Headlines will be Liverpool are back and it won’t even come close to telling the story of the game.

At least it ends all speculation that he’s coming here. I suppose he’s entitled to do what he wants but I feel he’s tarnishing his career over this past couple years.
