So apparently Andreas Christensen has deleted all of his Barcelona pics from Instagram and changed his profile pic back to Chelsea. 

As they signed as free agents, a clause in his and Kessie’s contract means they can cancel their contracts with Barcelona if they are not registered by their game on Saturday.

How would people feel about his return? 

Personally I wouldn’t want him to come back. I don’t rate him and especially don’t like the way he left the club.

We need a central defender and a physical midfielder could be nice. If Barca have to release both AC and Kessie I would snap them both up 

he's average and would offer very little.

Would be crazy if we reject Christensen now. 

It takes something truly special to be rejected by the club you choose to leave on a free.

Even the thought of it is scary enough to make you want to sh*t yourself.

Is this true? Seems pretty childish. They signed for this mess so no sympathy from me.

And no, I wouldn't want him back although I do rate him and he would solve us some problems right now.

 

It’s a no brainer. You can probably sell him for 30 million next season 

all this talk about him being nervous is probably very much exaggerated

i think Barcelona put out that statement about his injury to humiliate him. They probably already were planning on not registering him after they got koundé

Why not, offer him the same salary he was on before 😁 We were going to keep him despite all his troubles, which means Tuchel still rates him. Filling the gap for the year, save 80M and we go again next summer

It would be a good option so we can keep that money to go for Fofana next year 

Reverting his IG back to what it was before doesn't necessarily mean he wants to come back to Chelsea. That being said, we need a CB and he knows this system.

I would take him back for this season at least. He would provide the cover we need at CB in the short term, and allow us to go back for longer term targets like Fofana in the windows ahead.

Yes - a no brainer, knows the system. Can play in the center - i dont want KK in the center since this would inhibit his pro active play. Similarly neither TC or Fofanana are direct Silva replacements.. 

If nothing is progressing with Fofana, I would 100% take AC back. He knows the players and the systems, would fit in quickly. I'd also really love it some of these Barca signings release themselves because of all this sh*t.

I don't think this is true. I have seen a lot of people say that he never had any Barcelona pics and his profile picture has always been the Chelsea one, even after moving to Barcelona. I even found some posts on Twitter at the end of July pointing out that he hadn't yet shared any pictures since joining Barcelona.

Has anything like this happened before? The fact he hasn't even played or started the season, and may come back... 

I mean it would be a free signing for us, and a player who was already with us, but surely he will be demotivated and he's already shown he didn't wanna play for us in certain games.

5 of us left one investment bank to join  to join another firm in the mid 90s. As was just becoming customary we were marched off the premises without saying goodby. 3 days later we were talked into coming back. Later that year there was a fantastic jolly up on the gold coast centred on the casino and things by and large went quite smoothly for a while. So it can be done.
