Joao Felix

yep - a stupid decision, and one that is on Maresca for not integrating him into the team.

Just stupidity beyond belief for a club chasing a champions league position. Our decisions look more like those becoming of a club in steady decline like everton, not us.

Has felix gone or not? If he goes then things get alot worse, one less tricky option to change a game,

When has he ever done this, I cant remember a single game where he has changed it, either from starting or of the bench. He meanders through most of them on the fringe, nice little touches here and there but with very little actual impact.

Well, put this another way, we no longer have Felix on the bench, we now have 30 million pound Dewsberry-Hall on the bench - is that the genius of Maresca?

KDH has the same amount of assists as creative maestro Joao Felix for Chelsea (including Felix's loan spell) in less than half the minutes.

We're comparing sh*t with sh*t.

He scored the 6th goal against wolves once though!

Don't think we'd notice either way.

Really, has he gone or not? He isn’t on any media site lists of our outs that I’ve seen, but his wiki says he is at AC Milan on loan and a few other online articles suggest he’s gone.

Really odd that no-one has confirmed this. Same for Amougou transfer as well.

CFC web pages still have Felix on the first team page and not in the loan section. Literally everyone else that was loaned has already been moved to the loan section, including Disasi which went through very late,

One thing I did see in the Italian media is that the loan fee is given as £2m up front, with another £2.5m of potential add ons for qualification for Champions League (they are currently 8th, so possible but unlikely) plus winning a trophy (they are still in the CL and the Coppa Italia - Italian domestic cup), so talk of us having covered his amortisation costs for 2nd half of the season is a little premature !

Having to pretend that Félix is in any way a useful player is probably the most unfortunate part of your Jackson polemic.

Not at all - I liked Felix, because he offered something to the team that others didnt. The vision, confidence and ability to pick a pass and make things happen. He is a silky footballer, whose control, vision and passing is up there with the best we have in the squad.

The issue has been, and has always been, consistency and end product.  If other players (Sancho, Mudryk, Neto, Madueke, Jackson and Nkunku) had all been playing consistently well, and delivering an end product, then I could understand the reluctance to play Felix.  However all of those players have been patchy (at best) and I think Felix has enough natural talent to warrant a prolonged run out.  He didnt get it, and now he is gone. Fair enough - but I maintain that on footballing ability, he was one of the best we had.

Lies, we have several others who can fill the "nonsense unnecessary flicks that accomplish absolutely f**k all" quota, mostly your mate Jacko.

Joao Felix on Milan move: "It's a chance for me to find a home. After two loans, Chelsea and Barca, I needed to stay permanently in one place“

Doesn’t come across as the brightest, it is a 6month loan.

I thought you were taking the piss with those quotes. He actually said that? Swear he said that 6 months ago 😂

It does rather sound like a quote lifted from when he signed for us, and mis-applied to his latest loan move ...

lmao probably the least creative midfielder in our squad, including KDH.

Whether or not he really said that, surely at some point in time he will take stock and look for the cause of all that being shunted from club to club within himself?

No?

I know you don't - and many others also don't. And that is fine. I think you are wrong. And that is fine too.

When Wacko does any of these (and means it!) then we can talk.....
