David Datro Fofana to Chelsea

Featured Replies

Attitude issues it seems. Should only be upset at himself for prodcuing virtually nothing for Berlin.

David Datro Fofana has now been suspended for one week by Union Berlin after he refused to shake hands with the head coach Fischer after Napoli game, reports @L_deRuiter.

Fofana joined Union Berlin on loan from Chelsea in July. pic.twitter.com/M8ILNxt51u

Jackson's sending that rebound over the crossbar imo

He's had enough practice skying it. Even managed it v Spurs from close range following his three tap-ins. It has to be in his head, he just doesn't react and think quickly enough. Ditto his lamentable header.

Seems to be a common theme. Seen similar comments about Santos and Casadei. Is it becoming more evident where the weakness in our strategy is coming from?

Union Berlin is in the Champions league , so not surprisingly a sub player from us is not good enough for them. Maybe another loan at a Championship club, think a striker be easier to accommodate than a midfielder that's focused on passing and possession controlling. He may still give Jackson and Broja a run for the striker position, if we don't sign another striker.

Aye they don't want him, we need a striker, maybe he comes back and does a good job for us.

got to be worth a shout... If Broja and Jackson can't supply the industry and goals needed, why waste 70 million in January on someone new. He could be the tonic for the new year.

Recalled from Loan. Sevilla want to bring him in.

Would be best finding a lower league club to take him. We apparently will need two overseas loan spots freed up so Maatsen can go to Dortmund and Chalobah to Bayern, on loan to buy deals.

This would be one spot freed up. Webster might be the second.

I suspect we will look to offload him permanently rather than continual loans. With the new restrictions on loans we can only send so many players out on loan to European clubs.

Looked really poor when he played for Chelsea. Don’t know what they saw in him or how many people watched him but he isn’t good enough

The hype over that crap performance vs Southampton because of the desperation for Havertz to be dropped, good times..

Now Burnley want him apparently. No details whether it's a loan or permanent.

Based on what I've seen I'd snatch their hand off for £10m-£15m

If Winstanley and Stewart can make a profit on this guy that would be a very good result ! Up until they spend £80m on that Gyokeres bloke anyway ...
