January 25, 20251 yr This is why I hate football. We all questioned this signing from the very start and he's worse than how bad we actually thought he was.
January 25, 20251 yr At this point, you have to think that the decision to back Sanchez is political due to Sanchez being Ben Roberts man. Any manager worth his salt can clearly see he isn’t good enough. We been saying it ages now
January 25, 20251 yr Great goalkeeper trust him with my life never makes mistakes signed Paul winstanley and Laurence sterart and sorry Ben f**king Roberts Edited January 25, 20251 yr by Aussie79
January 25, 20251 yr Enzo Maresca: "We trust Robert [Sanchez] for sure. He is completely aware he is making mistakes in this moment. We trust Robert. We have one entire week and we will see the reaction for the next game." Not even a hint from Maresca that Sanchez might be dropped. Already talking about a reaction. 🤦♂️
January 25, 20251 yr Dropping Sanchez saved Poch's season last year, i wonder how long it'll take Maresca to figure out the same because at the moment we're in free fall.

January 25, 20251 yr Is Ben Roberts still at the club? c**t needs sacking as does any prick who backed this signing. Fans need to start getting on Sanchez back to force the useless c**t out of the team
January 25, 20251 yr At least we have the right man to help improve Sanchez's concentration ... the bloke whose career "highlight" was getting beaten from 40 yards, 40 seconds into the biggest match of his life 🙂 Edited January 25, 20251 yr by Sexyfootball

I'm not convinced by Jorgensen but after the last few games it would be a disgrace if Sanchez isn't dropped. Can we recall Kepa 😉 ?

If they want to go after anyone else because of Sanchez, go after Maresca. We can all see Sanchez is a bozo, but Maresca keeps picking him. What should Sanchez do, refuse to play? He is a average goalkeeper with no football brain, yet Maresca picks him. So who is really at fault there?
January 26, 20251 yr Our defenders were set up wrong today, when City had the ball we kept the high line and were tight to the player which meant a foot race favouring the attacker when they played a through ball or one over the top. It is school boy stuff, when they have the ball you drop deeper so you have the advantage in a foot race they did not do it which meant Sanchez comes off his line. This is down to Maresca yet it is schoolboy stuff!!!
January 26, 20251 yr Atrocious goalkeeping today. I'd rather give Jorgensen a run of games instead and see what he can do. What do we have to lose at this point?

January 26, 20251 yr Good news. “Telegraph: Chelsea now finally consider dropping problematic player going forward“ https://t.co/iMlZlgqf7t Edited January 26, 20251 yr by JM7
January 26, 20251 yr We can pray this is true but it still doesn't paper over the very obvious cracks in our structure, this should have been the case 2 months ago. Sanchez should never have even been number one after last season in fact. We then still have the glaringly obvious problem of our striker. 26 days into the transfer window and not so much as a murmur about anyone coming in. Gyokeres apparently available for 70M, a risk worth taking. But instead we'll spend that on Garnacho???? My head is well and truly gone with this ownership.

Jackson is not good enough and not what we required can he ever be I don’t know .. but as a coach he ain’t the hill I would die on for sure.
January 26, 20251 yr https://tbrfootball.com/chelsea-told-they-already-have-a-world-class-goalkeeper-after-robert-sanchezs-blunder-vs-man-city/ Barely made any mistakes last season, yet was sent to a sister club
January 26, 20251 yr 12 hours ago, Gordon Bennett said: Fans need to start getting on Sanchez back to force the useless c**t out of the team they started yesterday after his latest blunder, everytime it went to him it was the Chelsea fans booing him, Maresca needs to open his eyes and take him out, if he picks him at home to WEST HAM, im sorry to say it, BUT the supporters in the ground (if they can wake up) NEED TO give him the same treatment they gave to Sterling, we have 3 GK's on the books who are better then him (Jorgensen, Petrovic and even Kepa)
January 26, 20251 yr Manager is the one who picks him ahead of Jorgensen, and presumably supported sending Kepa and Petrovic on loan. Hence I'd direct the displeasure at Maresca rather than Sanchez, whose ongoing weaknesses were clearly in the public domain even when he was at Brighton. If they could coach them out of him it would have happened by now. Not his fault, just the level he is at. Should never have signed him in the first place. The SDs can kop some flak too for spending €93m on 5 goalkeepers who are #2s or prospects rather than finding one guy who is a clear #1.
January 26, 20251 yr Amazing your happy to lay the blame on everyone other than Sanchez, yet no one else is involved in the most basic of mistakes keepers at even non league don't make. Even before the complete clusterf**k of a goal he managed to balls up a basic save, pushing the ball straight into the path of 2 city players. He is a top level professional making amateur mistakes, that's on him and no one else.
January 26, 20251 yr amazingly, the worlds most expensive keeper, Kepa, is still the best gloveman on Chelsea books.
