Yeah truly awful performance. Only Colwill and Silva can keep their heads up, everybody else even Sterling has been below par.

Whats wrong with playing two center backs and an extra attacker to stretch the back line?

This ridiculous idea of Chilwell playing as a hybrid winger need binning ASAP!

Basically Playing Ball Retention, Nothing Has Really Changed, The Same Boring Keep Ball, Slow Play Ball, Don't Understand Why We Are Playing 3 At The Back, Wing Backs Are Just Passing It Backwards Whenever They Get It, What Position Is Conor Playing, Is He Next To Caicedo, Further Forward Or A Free Role??

Need Another Attacker On Up There With Jackson And Sterling

Do you make the effort to capitalise every word? Or is it some weird auto correct?

We can't be happy with this performance, we're lacking too much...

It's easy to press us and we are directly kicking it forward.. Jackson is not a type of player that needs to keep the ball with his back, he needs the space and dribbling forward actions.

Sterling gave us an important goal but overall the performance is not good enough and we might lose points here if we're continue to look like this.

Luton are not for PL level so far.

We need to make it better, COME ON CHELS!!!

Completely eased off after the goal.

Even though we're winning, it's not really good enough. We shouldn't look so lifeless with this much possession against a team playing so sloppily. Whenever we attack, almost every player looks like they're hoping for a clearer chance that will never come. Sterling's goal showed what can happen if you take on the defence.

We've done nothing since the goal. When it comes to momentum, we lose it way too fast.

1-0 is too dangerous for us to take it easy , gotta up it after halftime ,we need that 2nd goal

With Jackson he needs to settle down and just do the basics right. He's good at going on runs and he's a talented lad but he's a lot of "arms and legs" at this point and it's all a bit chaotic with him.

Sterling, Gallagher and Jackson were lively, but still too little in attack. Colwill is also having a good game. I can see what Caicedo is supposed to bring, but he's still playing within himself. Apart from that one mistake he was decent though.

I don't like Chilwell at LW, I think he's more dangerous offenisvely as a LB, when he makes his runs from deep. Also Enzo is too far forward, he's better when he's running the game more, like against Pool and the first half against West Ham. Gusto had an "assist" but he seems like a bit of a nothing player. Not particularly good on the ball, not a great passer, not very strong physically, not overly quick, not great defensively. Only thing he has going for him so far is, he seems to have a decent cross on him. Also I'm not Disasi's biggest fan. His passing is good when he's not under pressure, but he seems a bit slow and cumbersome. A bit clumsy.

I would love a clean sheet. I think we should aim for that. If we don't score again today but keep clean sheet I am okay with that. I don't think we need to win empathically. Let's focus on Chelsea and not outside expectations.

Ah, cheer up you whingers.

It's bank holiday weekend, it's raining, and Chelsea are beating Luton 1-0. What's not to like?

Working Saturday, Sunday And Monday

Lots of possession little incision

Sterling has come alive…good goal

Team balance doesn’t look right , play too safe in possession and too many gaps off the ball

Jackson is very raw,  but like others careless with the pass

Gusto as yet not as forward thinking as the player I saw at Lyon

Enzo too far forward to affect play

Chilwell not really involved on the left wing

Happy with Sterling and score although should be more but not happy with system. Looks slightly negative. We don't need 3 at the back. Sometimes Sterling and Jackson look like a 2 man attack when they could do with another winger up there. Hopefully a second comes early before the nerves kick in.

Also think we miss Enzo in the 2, he has looked great dictating play from there for 2 games, now we have moved him further forward, which I find strange when Gallagher is the more natural goalscorer.

Very surprised by some of the decisions after what we saw in preseason. Hopefully this is just a trial and error process, because Chilwell for the 2nd game is offering nothing on the left.

Caught last 15 minutes...we look slow and predictable. Bench looks really week. I find talks about Top4 too optimistic. If we play like this we might be talking about Bottom4. We have been buying players but mostly young and unprepared for the Premier league.
