None of our strikers have been good enough so rotate there. Rotate your wide attackers ok, rest your fullback when you can play your first choice center back pairing.

You absolutely DO NOT pair tosin with chalobah and Badiashile, we all knew we would lose seeing that.

Is not about making 4 or 5 changes being too much, if you do it in that right positions it can work.

Gusto

I have no problem with Tosin or Badishile starting, just not together. First name on the team sheet at SB should be Trev. Then choose whoever, ideally should be Achempong. This is illustrated in so many of his repeated managerial choices... the slow possession at all costs football, the mass rotations, players played out of position etc.

Why do we need to budget Estevao's minutes? Rooney, Ronaldo all played when they were younger than him. Suddenly we can't play Estevao even though he's been playing full 90 in Brazil's league

Estevao should have definitely played more minutes up to now, but we saw against Leeds why he isn't ready to start every game. Leeds hardly let him have a kick and his frustration got him a yellow card and if he'd stayed on, that would probably have become a red.

that was more down to having a CB behind him playing right back and a midfielder that got ahead of him all the time in Enzo, constantly leaving him completely isolated against 2 and sometimes 3 defenders. It was almost sacrificial by the bald moron.

Agree with nearly everything you say Deino, but we also need a good, consistent CF. None of our current players have delivered this yet. And of couse I include Jackson in this and he had has, by far, the most minutes having a go at it.

It was both. Lack of support, certainly, but starting at this level at his stage of development, against seriously physical oppo, is an entirely different thing to impacting off the bench. The signs were there -v- Arsenal.

FFS, we all regretted it as soon as we saw the starting line-up.

Based on those comments I have to assume even Maresca now won't be putting Tosin in a game before Acheampong.

I think the right coach could win us the league with these players. Especially the GK as I see Sanchez as being more than good enough.

The issue is the wrong coach would do worse. I have no doubt about that. Iraola could do worse than Maresca.
