January 1Jan 1 Probably absolutely no chance of it happening, but Felipe Luis would be an interesting choice out of left field ...

It's been so long since we had a coach like that managing the club. I'm not saying we should go get Glasner (although, I wouldn't object to it) but I want a manager that is sensible and isn't trying crazy sh*t like, as you say, put Gusto in midfield.Glasner stands up to the board at Palace. That's the last thing our lot want

January 1Jan 1 The news we've all been waiting for!Think they'll bring in Southgate - 6 months to see how it goes ... hopefully no harm done on either side.
January 1Jan 1 One thing's for sure ... the Premier League Manager of the Month curse is very real LOL

Bloody hell happy new year everyone

January 1Jan 1 There has been no improvement in the team whatsoever. Strange line ups, strange substitutes (when he made them) and what I perceived to be a lack of fear (might not be the right word) of him particularly when it comes to in field discipline.Taking off Palmer the other night (correctly or not) I thought was done to provoke a reaction from the crowd, and in turn those upstairs. Not sure where we go from here, but I don’t think it’s the worst decision.
January 1Jan 1 Rosenior is an upgrade on Maresca and would at least have us playing entertaining football getting the best out of the likes of A. Santos. Can hopefully bring Barca with him. Having said that I don’t really mind who our next manager is, so long as he plays Palmer on the right.

Got Postecoglu vibes already and he's not even appointed yet.
January 1Jan 1 It's the fecking ownership that's the problem, everything else is just a diversion. It's their 'plan" , "process " or whatever else they call it that is the issue. We've seen enough managers coming and going to know the problem lies elsewhere.. Edited January 1Jan 1 by The Rising Sun Info

Liam Rosenior's style is a high energy, possession based approach focused on pressing, turnovers, and quickly transitioning to attack with pace and precision, often using short passess to draw opponents.
January 1Jan 1 No surprise he’s finally gone. I’ve never warmed to him however I thought he / we had turned the corner after the CWC final; the football was good to watch and I was hoping that when this season began we’d see more of the same, but no, we have watched sh*t boring football for the most part, thrown away games we should have won. This together with his insistence of playing young world class players out of position and his in game management was the end for me. Defensively we’ve become a total shambles because of it; you can’t have your two full backs caught in the opponents box when you lose the ball and the scurry back to try and get into position like a dog chasing a ball. The spine of the team was never built, just a collection of players playing alongside each other in the hope it would work out, no structure, no balance. So yes I’m glad the stubborn Italian has gone albeit bad timing IMO. Now the rush for an interim manager and who knows a chance for Sterling and Desasi to redeem themselves (I hope not). Rosenior seems the obvious choice for the board but who knows what the two SD morons will come up with.

Maybe he had taken Coventry as far as he could.

But yeah, all Robins and definitely nothing to do with lampard. But be careful, he'll send you DMs now as he seems to get really upset by people daring to question him.
