I'm 100% Maresca out.

He thinks he is some sort of tactical mastermind.

He constantly sets the team up to fail, by over complicating things. How many of the best teams in the last 20 years did not having overlapping full backs or wing backs?

Sancho, Neto, and Madueke are not great, but I think most wingers would struggle to play under Maresca. No support from full backs, and 1 maybe 2 players in the box.

We were miles better under Pochettino by the end of last season. I reckon it will a similar points tally this year, but without any big exciting moments like the 4-4 with City, or the 4-3 against United.

Only moments Maresca has provided us is a 3-0 home win against villa, and the 8-0 win against part timers in the conference league.

Boring football from a fraud manager with no cv to be at the club. Sporting directors want and owners are the biggest issue for hiring him in the 1st place.

Legitimately cannot go through another season of this. It’s eye wateringly boring anti football. We have 0 attacking intention every game.

The Bald Bassett nullifies our own wingers before a ball is even kicked. Sets our best players into positions they aren’t natural at and works a whole system around defensive players being the only attacking outlet.

If we had a better manager we wouldn’t be in the position of having to worry about others, we would be comfortable top 4 already.

I think he will. I don't see us beating Betis and I even see Fiorentina pushing us. I fully expect Isco alone would make a huge difference for Betis against our inexperienced lot.

I'm gonna be so pissed off if he's still manager next season, but I don't see us getting rid of him. Absolutely boring, anti-football dross and you can tell the players don't want to play in this system either, most have regressed from the second half of last season. And even more annoying is that I'll still watch every game because I'm a f**king idiot.

It makes no difference who we play in most of the positions, because the team is set up to fail under this clown. Put Mbappe, Salah and Vinicius into this team, and they would also be firing blanks, because the way we play is simply not creative enough. It is boring, it is predictable and it is easy to play against.

• Spains starting RB

• Young player of the world cup

• £110 mil CM who was coveted by everyone

• Mens young player of the year

• Coveted England CB

• Multi time bundesliga footballer of the season and top goalscorer

Maresca has these thoroughbreds playing like a bunch of amateurs.

He has one job, get the best out of the players he has at his disposal. And yet he continues to put square pegs into round holes, and has them playing pedestrian, risk averse and boring unprogressive football.

Every single player has either regressed or stagnated under him. Not one player has improved.

Some fans, not many, are saying we need to be patient. Okay, but you can't be patient for the sake of being patient, you have to see something that you can be confident will materialise into something good. If every single player has regressed, with zero signs of improving, with the football being so tedious and leaving every fan feeling miserable, how can anybody expect any fan to be patient? There's nothing there that warrants patience.

There is no hope of things working out here. Maresca, as predicted, has been yet another poor decision by our sporting directors. They, along with Maresca, need to be sacked. The biggest problem of the lot is the owners, they have made too many mistakes over such a short period that I feel it's undone so much of what Abramovich did to get us where we are (or were).

We have regressed so much and continue to regress. We're in trouble with UEFA (again). We are constantly finding new loopholes to get us out of financial trouble with both the Premier League and UEFA, because they won't stop spending absurd amounts of money on kids that have barely kicked a ball at senior level. How the f**k can any fan expect us to be patient with this? The project is already a bust, it's not working and it's not going to work.

We were scared from before the ball was kicked … I know Tuchel did this for a while playing CHO as a wing back etc but my lord this guy has taken it to another level.. when he said i don’t like overlapping fullbacks .. well that was all I needed to know about his football .. ain’t gonna work in England.

Maresca just isn’t brave enough to be an elite manager. Plays it too safe. He can talk a good game but he’s showing very little to prove it.

The goals have dried up and no-one looks threatening. The win vs Spurs was overrated and papered over a lot of cracks. It’s games vs Brentford away which will get you top 4. Brentford weren’t very good at all and we still bottled it.

Unfortunately we’re stuck with him until at least after the World Cup and probably next season unless it all goes Pete tong.

He said it was too early for Palmer and Jackson to play back to back games.

Sorry, but it would’ve been completely understandable had they played and reinjured themselves given the situation we are currently in. They looked fine in the second half so he gambled and it didn’t pay off and needs to be accountable.

Cucurella merely provided another option in midfield during the buildup which allowed Gallagher to push forward.

Cucurella and Gusto behave as attacking mids. Gusto in that right channel essentially forces Palmer to play on the left when that space Gusto is taking is where Palmer operates best.

Let this sink in.

In our last 7 league matches our forwards have only manage to score in JUST ONE of those matches (Southampton at home, the WORST PL side in history!)

Had Palmer started and got injured it would’ve surely been understandable on Maresca given these are games we need to win. Resting him & Jackson just creates a greater risk, and judging from their performance they looked more than fine to have started.

And continues to demonstrate why he should never have got the job in the first place.

He’s not going anywhere unfortunately Beavis and Butthead would also need to go and they are protecting themselves first.

I don’t know why everyone is vexed. Just go and read some of Evissy’s posts and you’ll understand that our new-ish owners have it all under control and this is the new way to be successful. We fans just don’t yet have the ability to see or understand this yet.

We can all see that he’s sucked the life and passion out of this team with his slow, robotic, boring football.

Maresca is instilling a level of mediocrity into this team that’s unacceptable. What I’d give for a manager that drives belief in young players and plays to strengths. Our players shrink when they get on the pitch.

I don’t think Maresca can take us forward, but also think he’ll get another season.

What really gets me is the players are effusive in their praise of him when interviewed. Colwill, Palmer, Cucu and others seem to enjoy playing for him and have said so.

I’m not seeing what they’re seeing from him. He’s a fraud of a manager. It’s that simple. We’re still in the top 4 but it feels worse now than it did in the 2015/2016 season when we were 10th.
