I've got a lot of time for Brentford, not least because one of my Sons was there as a youth team goalkeeper for a while back in the very early 1990's. They are fully justifying their place in the Prem and playing some really good football.

I thought they would be in trouble after selling Wissa and Mbeumo last season, but they've been perfectly fine without them. They're a really well run club by the looks of it.

They are. No delusions. Matthew Benham, owner, ex-business partner of Tony Bloom, runs a tight ship with a similar data-led recruiting process to Bloom. A machine. Unplug Thomas Frank, plug in someone bred in the system.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Spurs disaster, BUT Brentford play exciting, energetic, no pointless possession nonsense., and they do it more often than not with more desire than the opposition.

Well done Bees! 👍 Well done Spurs ! 😂

Spurs were lucky to get nil. Im thinking de Zerbi could be a very poor appointment.

Only in your mind. We join a long list of European clubs who have already given them a home away from their nightmare home.

In that context it’s a wonderful thing. Quite a long way to travel for home games - I’m sure they’ll receive some good support in London.
