Osimhen stood out to me as Lille's best when we played them. Strong decent finisher and a great presser. He and Tammy are both Nigerian by background and are often compared to each other. I think when Tammy fills out and refines his back to goal game there isn't much that Osimhen will offer that Tammy doesnt.

I really like transfer windows speculation and rumors so I think that I should write this post on this thread. I think that Lampard does a really good job this year, and I am very optimistic about our future under him and project that club is going. I think that we have enough money to buy another star in this transfer window. this is my ideal projection for this transfer window, In: Ziyech (45), Werner (60), Koulibaly (70), Telles (30), Sancho (100) Sum: 305 Out: batshuayi (30), zappacosta (15), emerson (20), pasalic (15), moses (12), bakayoko (30), morata (55), christensen (30), barkley (25), drinkwater (15), willian (free), pedro (free), jorginho (50) Sum: 297 And this is all without hazard money 🙂 Potential squad: abraham werner (giroud) sancho (pulisic) (cho) kovacic ziyech (rlc) (Mount) Kante (gilmour) Telles James (alonso) Koulabily Rudiger (azpi) (zouma) (tomori) kepa (willy) Think Havertz where Ziyech is and Ziyech where Sancho is would be more likely. We need to sell Emerson and get a new LB, not sure it will be Telles though. Koulibaly rumour has been going on for years, we need another CB, no idea who we'll end up going for though.

Kante never played that role in his life, he would be where you put Ziyech and Mount and you're missing out on Jorginho that has been a key player and one of the most important reasons why we stopped parking the bus and are trying to play possession based and attacking based football, Gilmour/Jorginho should be the thing.

June 14, 20206 yr Real Madrid seems to be interested in buying Kante, Layvin Kurzawa is the new LB linked to us. I don't like any of that!

Quote From Spain: "Chelsea's record offer for Ronaldo" New rumors about the possible farewell of CR7. The rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo do not stop in Spain. According to the rumors reported by the Iberian media, in particular by Don Balon, Chelsea have presented Juventus with an offer of 120 million euros for the Portuguese striker. The Blues want to exploit the good relations between the five-time agent of the Golden Ball, Jorge Mendes, and the president Roman Abramovich to find an agreement, and now they are waiting for a response from the Juventus club. The offer for Ronaldo would be part of a plan for Londoners, who aim to return to dominance in England and Europe (Ziyech and Timo Werner have already insured themselves for the next season). Juve for its part has always reaffirmed its desire to retain the ex-Real and Manchester United star, undisputed idol of the fans and driver of the team, until the end of the contract in June 2022.
June 15, 20206 yr Apparently Chelsea have offered Juventus €120m for Ronaldo.Ohw. Ok. Thanks for the translation. Well that sounds extremely unlikely to really have happened. Those tabloids. I really wonder sometimes what there sources are. Unless a manager leaks anything to get negotiations on. I can’t imagine a team ever saying. We placed a bid for player a, b and c. If any they benefit from keeping all quiet. If not you got a snitch in the dressing room. I wonder if they are allowed to write gossips based on no source. And basically just made up themselves.

We wouldn't pay a fee for someone that age on massive wages. Even ronaldo. We might take someone on a free for a year, but i doubt it. We havent operated like that for a long time.

June 15, 20206 yr If Ronaldo leaves Juve, the only club I can see him joining is PSG just to get another easy league win in a different country and try stat padding goals/assists. Either that or US

I get the sense they didn't get along! I'd see him like Jorginho as another Sarriball relic stuck on the books with a million year contract. It maddens me this European trend of picking defenders and keepers based on their passing rather than their ability to actually defend. If there was one transfer we could make that would dramatically improve us it is a new keeper. He is probably the worst first choice keeper we've had since the mid 90s when I started following the club. But he signed a 7 year contract or something silly so he'll be very hard to get rid of. Can’t be that bad if he is putting de gea out of his spot as Spain’s no.1 at his age. I think he will come good and makes no sense to sell him after what we paid, give him another season and see where we are, he played well last season, he has the potential to be very good, pinging the ball out quick is part of Franks football as well remember.
June 20, 20206 yr I'd love to see Aubameyang come in if we could get him, the guy maybe 31 but he is still deadly & pretty agile and would be a great option with Tammy & Oli, just sell Bats to Palace or Newcastle. Edited June 20, 20206 yr by Malcolm9

Another mistake from Kepa for the goal on Sunday. I class that a mistake, he pushed out a soft shot in front of him. There should have been defenders to help clear up but even then it's a high risk that still gets put away. Some talk about Henderson being looked at. I can't see how United sell him to us, but that would be interesting. He also made a mistake on the weekend though.

A soft shot that was going under him but he quickly had to get down and get it away which he did. This is just nitpicking. Not his fault players are ballwatching as 3 unmarked players can get to the rebound.
