February 15, 201610 yr If he won't improve till the end of the season we should sell him so we still can get decent money for him. If he stays and continue being sh*t, his price tag will go down. Has it already gone down?
February 15, 201610 yr He obviously wants to go so hopefully we can rip somebody off for him. I'd rather he went to PSG than Real Madrid purely because I don't like Real. Edited February 15, 201610 yr by timetowaste
February 15, 201610 yr A big part why many of us wanted to back Mourinho over the players. Pretty clear to see that the ones who are "worth" building around don't intend to be here long enough to do exactly that. When the times get tough, many of these players have shown they'd rather give in or bail than actually fight for it. People shouldn't be acting so surprised. My biggest surprise is that we haven't seen more of this from certain CFC players. The team wouldn't be where it is if certain main role players had the mental toughness needed to fight CFC back into the CL.
February 15, 201610 yr We are going to get a lot less for him if he replicates this season next year to though. So i would prefer to sell him now if we can get a pretty penny for him and wisely use the money we get from him. Preferably young english talent with the right attitide and hunger to become one of the best. Barkley for example. Worse case scenario yes we'll get less. On the other hand if he lights up the Euros and has a good season after we could be looking at 120m pounds
February 15, 201610 yr Hazard has had one bad season a Chelsea and people want to offload Hazard, disgusting. The media love to attack Chelsea, you should be more sceptical.
February 15, 201610 yr Hazard has had one bad season a Chelsea and people want to offload Hazard, disgusting. The media love to attack Chelsea, you should be more sceptical. People seem to be saying that if he wants to leave then we should cash in, especially considering his form this year. Don't see any reason to label that disgusting. His words are there for all to see aren't they?
February 15, 201610 yr It seems a lot of folk are taking some of his comments, and picking a few quotes not in their entirety, and using that to beat Eden with. He in essence has said that CL is attractive, and with PSG competing in it lately they are now in the realms of clubs "hard to say no to" whn players are thinking about where to go. He has, in the past, also said that he doesn't want to go to Ligue 1. He admires Zidane (who doesn't). And, he has also said that in the past he let everyone know when he was leaving a club, but for now he has no intention to leave and is staying with Chelsea. Finally, he also stated how the players were partly responsible for Jose's departure, but ultimately the manager will - rightly or wrongly - take the blame for an under performing team.
February 15, 201610 yr I find more disgusting his words, he has lacked professionalism. It is fair enough if he wants to leave the club, but shouldn't be saying that in public, at least until the end of the season. Now, I even doubt if the form he's showing this season is a result of him not wanting to pull the weight for the team. I agree with most of you, we should cash in. He'll have a good European championship this summer as he will be fit by then, so after that the club should sell him to make good money.
February 15, 201610 yr I thought that interview was done weeks ago, perfect timing from the media to rerun the story before the huge game tomorrow. At his age, it's natural to keep his options open, whether we like it or not. Ideally he shouldn't have mentioned the word Zidane, but again he said nice things about Chelsea which everyone ignored.

Similarly the blind optimism that all is well and the player is happy can be taken as naive. we have been here before with players when it's been utterly inevitable that they're going to move yet people on here dismiss it as baseless rumour Hazard has been controversial in this regard for months, unnecessary comments dropped to press overseas and simple likes on instagram pics linking him with real. The lad may well move on, in fact I'd wager a grand on it that this summer he is off. People are entitled to assume this is the case especially given direct quotes attributable to the player himself alluding to the fact that he may indeed be willing to move to another club. We will not turn down a huge offer for him. It's where we now find ourselves and the sooner people realise this, the better, IMO.
February 16, 201610 yr Has it already gone down? I think so, yes. We can't be talking about 100mil anymore like we used to over the summer.
February 16, 201610 yr Hazard has had one bad season a Chelsea and people want to offload Hazard, disgusting. . Let's be honest, that's one hell of a bad season. So far he absolutely did nothing. He has no drive too. I think next season, if he stays, will be as bad for him as this season.
February 16, 201610 yr Hes an idiot for saying it, he's a f**king Moron for saying it during the build up to playing against psg. He can go for a I care.
February 16, 201610 yr Bad time for him to give an interview to a French newspaper but I think people are going way OTT on this. Footballers like to be liked and he obviously wanted to avoid pissing the journalist off so he said nice things about PSG but also added "I'm not thinking about a move at the moment". All footballers do it - it's a nothing story. And folk predicting next season he'll be just as bad as this season? f**k me, some people have very short memories. Without him we wouldn't be the current PL Champions.
February 16, 201610 yr Sell Hazard to the highest bidder outside of England. He keeps sending cryptic messages about wanting to leave to another club for various reasons. If he doesn't have the desire to be here get rid of him and use the cash to buy two or three top players. I'll take Riyad Mahrez for 40 mil, Yaya for 20 and Ross Barkley for 30-35. For me those 3 are more valuable than Hazard who obviously is not interested in helping dig Chelsea out of the hole he has helped create. The current Yaya over Hazard? Lmao, you are just kidding right? RLC over the slow as a snail Yaya for me.

Without him we wouldn't be the current PL Champions. Agree with the second bit but the interview was unnecessary. He knows what answer to give yet he goes further. Add to that the perceived lack of commitment he's shown in some quarters this year and his poor form and he'd have to be an idiot not to know what he was saying, and I don't think he's that. We're playing PSG in a season-defining match and he does this? It's a poor show from the young man.
February 16, 201610 yr Eden already knew fans were questioning him over his form, role and attitude under Jose....whenever this interview took place, he was out of order to say anything which suggested he fancied a move away...I'm sure it will happen this summer anyway, but all he had to do was say I'm just focussed on making season a success in CL and fa cup...Costa and Fabregas also had the finger rightfully pointed at them, but at least they are now doing their talking on the pitch... I would argue hazard now takes the prize as the biggest disappointment this season, but it's his attitude rather than performances that have underwhelmed me the most... Unless he turns it around in next three months, I won't be sorry to see him go...not the kind of character we need in the tough battle we have ahead to climb back to the top Edited February 16, 201610 yr by The Brit
February 16, 201610 yr His performance and attitude will be a tell tell sign of whether there is anything in what the papers are printing. I hope he goes out, has a belter and shows all that there is nothing in it. After all, all we all want is a back in form hazard at Chelsea.
February 16, 201610 yr The little weasel only kissed the badge a couple of weeks ago, whats that about. Modern footballers are like spoiled house cats. We need more dogs.
February 16, 201610 yr He's looked uninterested in our club since the start of the season. People keep making excuses for him with him not being fit or out of form...It's nearly March for goodness sake and he hasn't done anything of note since last season. It's simply not good enough and if he wants to flirt with PSG then so be it, sell him for silly money because in his current form (which has been on going August) he is nothing other than a huge liability on the park.

Another fine example of a massive over statement!! We have had some serious liability's over the seasons. Despite his from this season, thankfully Hazard is not one of them.

You don't go from being the best player in the league to one of the poorest because of a mere slump. His head isn't in it and hasn't been since the summer, it's one of the most obvious cases of a players head elsewhere that I have seen. You have your opinion and I have mine. Exactly this some fans are starting to look very silly with these comments. You guys just playing into the media hands we are the most hated club in the country and it's no surprise the media and the opposition fans wants one of our best players to leave. It's astonishing fans fall this hook line and sinker Edited February 16, 201610 yr by Brutos
February 16, 201610 yr Exactly this some fans are starting to look very silly with these comments I think that's unfair when they've backed a guy for years and then see him follow up a poor season with a perceived lack of commitment, with an interview where he talks about how it would be hard to say no to our next opponents in one of the most important games of the season. I think that's very unfair actually.
