Interesting, stats almost identical, what has dropped, interception and most important he is dribbled past 10 times more than he was in 11/12 and 5 times more that he was last season 

 

Passing Accuracy is a joke. He passes the ball back 90% of the time. 

He has been a very good servant for many years,he has on the other hand never been a RB.He has no pace and every fast winger takes advantage of that.That was not really the case for the past seasons apart from an odd game.This season in our opening four games he and Fabregas were our weak spots,no one can really deny it.Can't blame him he is a center back who is forced to play on right back,teams will target him until we switch him with Dave and play Baba on the left it will bring the defense in balance.

He gets another chance from Jose, I really hope to see a good performance from him. 

Another game, another sh*t performance with goals coming from his side. It's reached the point now where there is no logical explanation as to why he keeps getting picked.

It's worrying that baba rahman hasn't even made the bench yet. I can't see ivanovic being dropped until after baba has played in the league cup.

Well, most of us still watched the game after we saw Ivanoic in the team sheet. We knew it was going to end in tears, but football fans are true fools.

At this point, I wouldn't mind if Bosingwa was on that side. Atleast he had a decent cross on him. Incredible how many times Ivan can't even beat the first man.

I love Ivanovic and hope Jose uses him in central defence from now on. Maybe even last 5 mins target man that he usually keeps in times of dire need.

Also, instead of closing wingers down, he puts his arms behind his back and stands about 10 yards away from the winger which then gives them the chance to put in an excellent delivery. It has to stop, we can't keep playing him, he is getting the most basic defensive situations all wrong.

Seriously though, hogs the screen. The thing literally fills the screen on close up. Either that or there are some dodgy camera men about. Don't wanna be looking at no man's rear end, Chelsea player or not.

I don't mind. Really, I don't. It's a huge part of football, you know :-)

He is looking completely shot. He needs to be more aggressive but he looks so scared of being beaten, he is just standing off and letting players get crosses in and shots on goal.

Baba has to play next week and hope he hits the ground running.

I really used to rate and respect Brana but his form just lately is quite baffling to say the least.

 

What is it with this strange action he has of standing  yards off the attacking player and putting his arms behind his back ? He is doing it week in week out. It's annoying to watch and I really can't understand why the manager or coaches haven't picked up on this.

He will probably be rested for the Champions League game and start against Arsenal.

Evertons first two goals were down to him as well as others this season

Jose admitted he left him om too long against palace and yet two weeks later he plays him again !!

Ivan is shot and i doubt he will come back to what he was. Its a shame but it happens and chelsea have to move on asap
