Getting back to the player we bought I believe and Silva is helping him mature greatly 

Ive always liked Zouma, good to see him doing so well. Its a surprise he hasn't scored this many before considering he's great in the air and has a great leap.

It's a bit of a coincidence that when Willian leaves we're all of a sudden the best set piece takers in the Premier League lmao

I'm looking but I can't see any stats unfortunately, just corner stats not goals from corners. I'm now interested to know Arsenal's goals from corners this season.

I think Emerson has an assist or two from corners too. It’s amazing what happens when the ball gets past the near post isn’t it!

Early days yet but doesn't appear to be favoured by Tuchel. 

Erratic season for our centre backs with Zouma and Rudiger going from being in and out of favour with the managers to the point of being left out of match day squads entirely. 

I'll be honest and say I'm not a huge fan of Zouma as a centre back. He doesn't really suit a back three (in my opinion) so will be interesting to see what happens with him between now and the end of the season. 

I read he didn't make the squad due to injury.

He's been very good this season. Not flawless, of course, but he's really improved his all-round game. 

I've never been a fan to be honest even though he has put in some good performances in the past.

He's a decent squad option but should not be a starter for a team that wants to win titles.

I've never been a big fan of Zouma either, but I do think he's every bit better than Rudiger. I couldn't get behind the Zouma hype one bit, beecause he always has a mistake in him, he switches off, and on top of that on the ball he's awful. 

But that's the thing really, any manager that comes in, you're going to see stuff like this, it's only 3 games of course but I don't think Zouma is part of Tuchels plans by the looks of things. 

Is anyone here a fan of any of our CBs bar Silva? All average defenders. Play Zouma in a back four with Silva, they looked good. Back three play Rudiger with Silva, they look good. But neither Zouma nor Rudiger nor Christensen are good enough. We need to upgrade, Silva has one more year or two at most and we can’t rely on the other defenders.

I actually think all our CB's are decent (yes even Christensen), last season they were made to look bad by the keeper behind him.

Kepa will find a way to make even Silva nervous if/when they play together.

Tuchel will try to sign Süle from Bayern. He's a better passer than Zouma but in a back 4 Zouma is way better than Rudiger...

I'm not sure but if he was really good I don't see why Bayern wouldn't extend his contract so I'm missing something there...

I'd much rather see Guehi integrated. I've not seen anything from Ampadu yet that tells me he's ready for our level.

I don't know why he doesn't get picked by Tuchel. He is much better than Christensen and Rudiger.

I assume that Tuchel thinks Zouma isn't right for the central role and that Azpi and Rudi are ahead of him for the roles either side. 

Rudi vs Zouma, I'm team Zouma. But not a surprise that Tuchel has gone for Rudiger

No coincidence we aren't scoring from corners after Zouma is out. I think his poor passing counts against him, and to be fair we have been getting results since Rudiger returned.
