Like I said earlier in the thread, Frank said he "couldn't imagine" playing for someone else (and i think that might have been a couple of years before he actually had to make the decision) whereas JT has said he wouldn't - and close to the time he would have to make that decision.  I think (and hope) that saying you're not going to do something is rather different to not being able to imagine doing something.  And I would I hope that that means JT has given it serious thought (especially after Frank) because he's going to look really stupid if he goes back on it now.

As much as we will obviously miss him it could be a blessing in disguise at least we will be playing 2 full backs on their correct sides!

I don't think it's worth risking him at PSG.  We will miss his leadership, for sure, but I'd rather play with FB's in their right position, and play with fully fit players.

We're playing against a club who have one of our former players (and a central defender as well), so some journo was bound to ask Luiz about Terry.

I think the club will offer him a 1 year deal towards the end of the season. Everyone from the commentator to former players had their say, the club know it will end up badly if no contract is offered, worse if he decides to link up with Jose at United. Whoever the manager will be definitely  like a good start with the fans, he won't want be seen as the one that doesn't want JT.

Facts are Terry is still the best centre back at the club so this 'ridiculous' fixation is pretty relevant is it not?

Also the best defender in the league by a country mmile last season lifting 2 trophies in the process, it's hardly like he has been on a constant decline for years.
