My mate who follows inter was at inter v celtic yesterday and he said rodgers wouldnt sign any autograhps for some kids

Well, finally something sensible from Rodgers. Apart from the fact that autographs ate the silliest thing ever, it's for him to decide to give them or not. Nobody, not even kids, has the right to get an autograph.

In fairness val he didnt even make eye contact could have even waved

Seeing that it's Rodgers, nothing but a fistpump would suffice.

Crashed out of Europe tonight with Celtic, right?

They went through even though they lost 2-0 in Israel tonight.

He said before the game in Barcelona tonight that Celtic would not be going into this Champions League Group 'to just make up the numbers!'.

For the record it was Barcelona 7-0 Celtic.

well he was right - 7-0, you couldn't make that up

Brendan says their set-up and organisation was good in the first part of the game but by the end he was frustrated and disappointed.

No character, that's the problem...

What an embarrassment. That result tells us all we need to know about Scottish football. The team that win the league every season and will no doubt win it again this season (already played 4, won 4) totally humiliated in the CL and I expect more humiliation to come. Shame!

Brendan Rodgers: Celtic would be major threat in English League

Brendan Rodgers says he understands why the English Football League has closed the door on any notion of the Scottish champions joining their set up.

The Celtic boss spoke after his side's 3-3 Champions League draw with Premier League leaders Manchester City.

"There's no doubt Celtic are a major threat to nearly every English club," said the former Liverpool boss.

Stop laughing,please, he's being serious:biggrin:

They've played two Champions League games, conceding 10 goals.

Now he looks like a saviour to Celtic players

Erik Sviatchenko : “There’s been a lot for me since Brendan entered the club. His way of dealing with the team is fantastic and I feel really refreshed.

“I’ve learned a lot as a footballer in the building up of a game and the purely tactical side. I’ve become calmer and better in major matches, where it’s done me well."

"But this is Celtic. This is one of the great iconic clubs in the world so there is no doubt that with this group we could go in [there and compete].

"Imagine the backing then. Celtic would be one of the minimum top four, top six clubs in the English Premier League and then that puts you on a different level altogether."

He's really said this

Also asked about taking over at Arsenal in the same interview. Please do Brendan, going from Wenger to him would be magical

He's one of the most deluded worn uns in the game today.

Wow great achievement winning a title in a one horse league where you have a 20 odd million head start on anyone else Brendan.

The winners of the Scottish League would get relegated in the EPL, it's that simple because the standard at the top of the SPFL is akin to the Championship and below.

Guys a joke figure

The current Celtic team would, but in the PL they would have the tv deals, attract higher sponsorship and would have a massive budget to improve the team. Top player's would go there and Rangers if both were in the PL.
