July 3, 20179 yr I was actually watching it live when he was streaming it and any first thought was also wtf this is an injury waiting to happen
July 3, 20179 yr Absolutely. I am surprised by all the talk about how he is a great character and important presence in the dressing room. I used to work with a guy who was always trying to be the centre of attention, making juvenile knob/shagging jokes and just generally acted like an immature prick...and the general view in the office was that the guy was a clown, nobody really liked him and people were relieved when he left. No idea why it would be different with costas teammates, as like you he seems to be an exhausting presence . Edited July 3, 20179 yr by nonotnowjim
July 3, 20179 yr I normally put it down to not getting enough attention when they were a kid, almost certainly an oversimplification but then again.............
July 4, 20179 yr Have to say I wouldn't mind at all if Costa stayed. Our main candidate to replace him is Lukaku, who is good but I have my doubts. You can throw Costa into anything and he still performs..
July 4, 20179 yr And what we will gain ? We don`t know on what form he will be. His recent form was poor as hell. He was looked bang average. And it`s a matter of time before he start crying and moaning, and doing his antics once again. But this time we won`t have the luck we have last year and won the title with 10 men on the pitch. Not to mention Conte will be furious and won`t sign new contract for sure. And Atletico transfer ban will end in the winter and 100% this im***** will start doing same ***** once again. And what option we will have? To play with 10 men or sell him in the winter and search for a new top striker in the winter. That would be great move, don`t you think ?????? We aren't his teammates, we don't attend training, we aren't in the dressing room, how do we know the players hate Costa and would be relieved to see him go? How can we attack his character, when we view his off pitch behaviour once in a while on social media? Bit harsh and unwarranted if you ask me, not sure how some are coming to the conclusion that he's a reckless, attention seeking scumbag when we don't know him personally, bit odd.

I've never read any post claiming to know all those characteristics. I for one just theorised he is probably an exhausting presence, to which nonotnowjim told an anecdote about a former colleague. And quite a few of us fear a dangerous activity could harm him, and therefore harm Chelsea. Nobody said anything about other players hating him and that other melodramatic stuff you wrote.
July 4, 20179 yr Diego has been good for us but the second half of last season after the china crisis his form was pretty woeful and i feel he cost the team. He nicked the odd goal but should of scored lots more, plus so much attacking play ended with him, and not by him scoring. I think with him we pretty much stumbled over the line, can you imagine if we had of had some body just half as prolific as Kane? we would of had it wrapped up weeks before the end. Sooner he is gone the better if he is going to carry on like that.

Just saw a couple of posts like yours, who disagree with his off pitch behaviour and in my mind, he's just having fun and being a human being. Also, I disagree with the thought that his teammates would be relieved if he left, that's all, he seems well liked by teammates. Didn't mean to be melodramatic though, so apologies.

I don't think Costa's situation is having any implications for the Lukaku deal...it's Eversh*te's insane £100m demand that's complicating matters...with regards Costa, let him rot for the next two years if needs be, or AM stump up £40-50m and he goes this summer...he's what 28 now and its a world cup year too...I think it's Chelsea who holds the cards even if it costs us his wages till he goes...

Yeah theres no way I would do Atletico any favours here. If thet dont want to pony up, then just keep him. Have him wander around the reserves unless he wants to get his sh*t together and contribute. If he wants to leave so desperately he can always og to China for 40-50mill otherwise he should be forced to stay.

It's abit cruel to flog players to China if they don't want to be there don't you think? Its abit like your boss is transferring you to Sri Lanka, wether you like it or not.

It would be a bit like that if I had thrown a fit at work and didnt want to be there anymore and only wanted to work at our branch in Spain. Otherwise no, its nothing like that.

THIS. If that c**t wants to do a power grab thing with us, then pay his 200kpw and let him rot at home getting fat like last season or driving his dirt bike. This is the world cup year, if he wants to play in the world cup, he will have to play at club level. So we hold the cards, do what we say or let him rot.

What sort of supporter calls his own player a c**t? Some f**kwit, Sky-washed know-nothing who gets all his football knowledge from the internet and television and who has all the loyalty of something odious with no loyalty whatosever. Think late-career Gallas.

Costa might still be on our books but is never going to play for us again after the stunt he pulled. Anyways i dont mind another f**king, "I am a londoner" fan telling me how I should be. If you have a problem with fans who can watch chelsea only on the tube then get the f**k out of this forum, you f**king imbecile. Because this is a FORUM. A public one, for people from every country in the world. So take your f**king speech and shove it up your ass. Edited July 5, 20179 yr by didierforever
