Tammy Abraham

Really poor tonight, touch was worse than lukaku. Even a simple pass, he bobbles it to a team mate.

Missed a couple of chances, and offered nothing.

Form and confidence has dropped off a cliff. Doesnt even look premier league standard at the moment. Really needs to work hard on omproving his overall game and finishing.

Another terrible performance. I wouldn’t be upset if he wasn’t at the club next season. His attitude bothers me - seems cocky/arrogant but hasn’t got the credentials to back that up.

unable to hold the ball up, work a defense or play a simple pass. Was a good experiment but out of his depth for me.

I’d leave any talk of a new contract for a week or so if I was him.

That goal against palace triggered another 12 months, so he has 3 years left as it is.

He doesn't know how to use his body well, it's like an average 6 ft striker woke up one day and he was suddenly 6'4 and can't adjust to it. Looks like Bambi on ice at times. I think he needs to bulk up and change his identity on the pitch, he's not nimble enough to help build up so bulk up and become a battering ram.

I must admit his clumsyness does annoy the f**k out of me. He reminds me of Danny Welbeck, can't stay on his feet for longer than two seconds, just falls over.

Won't make it here and he has no potential that shows me that he can even be that good either. Literally another Batshuayi in every way, and the only reason people aren't asking for his head on a platter is because hes yoof.

i think he actually understood what needs to happen more in the second half.. when he started coming deep to link up play.. a more experienced coaching team would have given him that advice much earlier..

Personally I think it is harsh to judge him on today. He should have never started. Giroud was the obvious choice when faced with a deep block and three centre backs. We needed him to drop deep, win aerial challenges, link with Willian and Pulisic and make them move outside the width of the 6 yard box.

That isn't Tammy's game yet. As it was there was no space and no service. As it was for 70 minutes the ball never even entered his zone. Was just passed around in the U of Death Shape and then passed back. No one had the guts to actually try and find a pass to feet in and around the box that could have given him a sniff.

He has things to improve on no doubt. First is to put on about 10kg of muscle. As we've seen with Lukaku that is possible. He had a similar bean pole physique at a similar age. But for now I won't condemn him on a game where no player in the team deserved more than a 4/10 rating

Nobody thought he would do as well as he has. 14 non penalty goals in his first season with little creativity around him. Also, he got that injury before the break and it could be that which is affecting him as he might not have fully recovered. I remember it being said he was playing through injury back in Feb.

People are too quick to judge him. Who else do we have? Literally all the pressure to score at the moment and for most of the season has fell on his shoulders. That cannot be easy for a young player like him.

Apart from Pulisic who has been having a purple patch, we haven't had anybody else taking the pressure off Tammy. Giroud is not better. Neither is Batshuayi. It all goes back to the club for the poor/lack of recruitment.

Hopefully he signs a long term contract soon and see if that helps his head

Shouldn't £100,000 a week do that. Recently he's provided nothing,  absolutely painful to watch.

Any Chelsea striker is annoying to watch if they don't score, when they score you put up with any irritations in their game. He was literally up against it yesterday with 3 vs 1, Wolves and plenty of other teams have struggled to break them down this season, so no surprise he struggled to score.

But lets not forget not long ago when things in the team were purring, Tammy purred with them, it's their in him, we've seen it. It will be exciting to see how he interacts with our two new players.

I'm sure he will when they arrive, but in the now he's not. Can't see how he's picked in front of Giroud. He looks more like Bambi that a centre forward at the moment.

It's incredible how far off he is from his peak form 6/8 months ago.

His scoring abilities are there, he just need to get his confidence back and work on improving other aspects of his games. If not, time on the pitch will be extremely difficult for him next season.

He looks a shadow of what he was at the start of the season. Its maybe a combination of match sharpness and confidence at the minute. I don't remember him falling over as much at the start of the season it actually looks like someone is pulling him down from behind.

4 maybe 5 big games left hopefully he starts to quickly find some form.

A clause in his contract was activated where it makes it so that his contract now runs out in 2023. No reason to offer anything.

Okay that's good then he must show that he has the balls to drag this team forward else it's pointless

Interesting.

What was the clause?
