It’s his break out season, he’s young and if shown faith will improve imo, and all of you CFC fans who are losing patience with him and even won’t be sorry if he’s not here next season , he’s the Clubs top scorer in the prem and top scorer overall, obviously not good enough at this level then 😅

The man is incapable of serving as an outlet for the wingers and midfielders. Literally no link up play with Pulisic or Willian. I've said this before, he makes our wingers worse. Also hate is body language of constantly throwing his hands up and complaining.  Two goals since start of the year? 

I'm not giving up on him but he needs to earn his minutes and improve his hold up play against physical defenses. Sits the bench until he proves otherwise. Horrible decision by Frank to start him over Giroud

I think Tammy has really gone backwards. I don't see how he starts any of the remaining games. I can only assume his starts have been protecting Giroud with his age, rather than Frank actually thinking Tammy is the better option.

Is it time to retire the number 9 shirt?

Costa had an amazing second part of the season when they fired Jose. Sadly, he decided to sabotage the first part., so does that count?😄

I don't think that's right ... that website that does all the xG stuff reckons he should have had 14.5 goals from the chances he's had, and he has 14, so not much difference ...

That half-goal could have been crucial.

He’s never going to be good enough to be a starting striker for a title challenging team, but he’s certainly good enough to be a squad player.

Wow didn't believe it was true 

Championship level, not even better than Batshuayi imo. Only thing he has going for him is that hes still a bit young so can improve, but for now he's not on Giroud's level.

Yep, could have lost 3-0.5 against Sheffield united. What might have been.

Honestly I’d loan him out next season and keep Giroud. I think he needs the experience and to learn how to make runs etc.

IMO he had a great first half of the season. It could hurt his confidence if we loan him out, when he was at his best he was better than Giroud.

I think it depends how Lampard plans on using Werner and which system is he looking to implement, if he is looking to play Werner on the left or is planning to play a 2 striker system than I can see Tammy and Giroud fighting it out for the striker option.

If Werner is likely to play as the main striker with Pulisic on the left in that scenario I can see Giroud as being the better option off the bench & I am not sure if Abraham will settle for the 3rd striker slot.

My opinion on the matter is that we have the personnel to play 4-2-4 next season especially against teams who set up a low block similar to Norwich, my first 11 would look like (With players we currently have in the squad for next season):

                       Kepa

James- Rudiger- Zouma- Azpi

                Kante- Kova

Ziyech                                Pulisic

              Giroud-Werner

I don't think it's an attitude problem kev. I know where your'e coming from, it annoys me when players responsible for a break down in play start waving their hands to negate blame, and Tammy is pretty good at it, but most of the players do it, Willian is an habitual offender, and most of the younger ones, you see it at all levels even in the local Sunday leagues.

To be fair if you’re talking about the other night when Kovacic didn’t put him in against Norwich. He was rightly pissed off as it was a simple pass and he was clean through, I’d have been fuming as well.
