September 19, 20178 yr btw any news about when Side Show Bob was pushed into the advertisement at the end of the 1st half vs le arse? I noticed in the when the 2nd half began, Side Show seemed to be wearing a cast on this left wrist? WTF? No talking heads said anything about that.
September 20, 20178 yr I find that this season Luiz is more better than last season, he was good on the pitch, in every games he played. It's too bad he will miss the big games against City, but i think Andreas will replace him good. His red card vs Arsenal is a mistake from view and appreciation it's all. That, remove nothing from his performance vs Arsenal.
September 20, 20178 yr so I have discovered that Side Show Bob indeed suffered from a Broken Wrist when that gooner pushed him into the advertising.

October 27, 20178 yr This made me laugh http://www.dailymail.co.uk/video/sport/video-1562332/All-David-Luiz-sees-double-biggest-fan-returns.html Even gave himself a bandage around his wrist to look more like Luiz
November 6, 20178 yr Same here. I actually think Luiz is a world-class player and it'll be a huge loss without him, but if we give in to player power then we'll never learn, we'll keep having bad second seasons, we'll keep having to sack managers. If Luiz doesn't want to play, get rid of him honestly, the club comes first, Conte is in charge. I also don't like the way he behaved in the Roma game, reminded me of Sanchez laughing on the bench when they were 6-1 down to Bayern. It's just shameful behaviour and complete disrespect, love him as a player and he seems entertaining but there is something about his attitude that I don't quite like. Of course, I know nothing of what goes on behind the scenes, but I doubt Conte is in the wrong here.

November 6, 20178 yr That luiz openly questioned Conte's training methods and tactics. Please note the "IF"
November 6, 20178 yr Difficult one. I am a fan of Luiz, and the last thing we need is to lose a versatile, experianced player, from our alreday thin squad. We also don not need another Costa situation, with an unhappy player stinking out the mood in the camp. That said, if he is alreday causing problems abd disrespecting the Manager then I have no issue with Conte laying it down. I hope that it can be resolved, and Luiz can regain the Managers trust.

Iv'e always been a bit supporter of Luiz, excused his frailty's due to his character and versatility. But the manager must come first, especially one as good as Conte. Look at the ferguson hit list over the years. Ince, Sparky, kean Beckham, Stam - with the exception of maybe Hughes and Kean (on the way down a bit), All considered top level and world class players at the point of exit, all shown the door because the manager decided they had crossed the line. No player is bigger then the club and the manager should always be backed, if after you have backed the manager both financially and in the dressing room you still haven Arsen Wenger... well time to get rid
November 6, 20178 yr Can't add too much more to that Barak - totally agree. Love Luiz - YES he can makes mistakes but when he's good he's great and his return last season was certainly a major factor in us winning the PL. Will admit I was amongst the numbers expecting and hoping for Luiz to be made captain. But in a short space of time something has clearly gone wrong and I would back Conte's decisions every time. Have to say, how composed and good on the ball Christensen looked, I know it's early days, but would love to see him become captain in the future.
November 6, 20178 yr Cant see it being anything else than a bust up, dropping him from the playing 11 would have been one thing but leaving him entirely out of the squad, a totally different matter. Would be interesting to see how this pans out. If he is sold, we WILL direly need cover in the CB position as dont think GC, Azpi, Rudi are made for the central CB position. Zouma can be called back but his ball playing skills are poor (to put it lightly). But I do hope this means that AC is a starter from now on. He has totally deserved it, being the better player by a light year. Edited November 6, 20178 yr by didierforever

November 6, 20178 yr Luiz deserved to be dropped, that red card against Arsenal costing us the potential 2 points, and the stupid handball at Atletico, not even going to mention the recent poor performances. Sure, he's a character, but is he a bigger character than JT or Ivanovic? Conte had no problems making calls on them, doubt he will hesitate on Luiz. I'm sure Luiz or his people will talk soon, but if he thinks he's too good to be dropped he got another thing coming.

And if we look closer to home, Conte very quickly identified Ivan and Terry as being a tad past there best days and dropped both, the former a definite member of the player hire-achy the latter a club legend. The good of the team first every time.

November 6, 20178 yr To my knowledge there has been very little explanation for Luiz being dropped from the bench, just wondering if it could be drugs related. I suppose the test will be if we look to sell him in January. With Christensen's assured performances I always thought Luiz would be at risk of being dropped though did not anticipate this, hence my previous comment.
