If he's not good enough, then he's not good enough. He had his chance in his first season with us and he was terrible. Yes, it's only pre-season, but he can't even pass a ball cleanly, he's just a very poor footballer who is playing at a level way higher than he should be. One of the non-homegrown players is going to have to be left out, and Bakayoko looks like the obvious one to leave out at this point. We should just sell him to whoever will take him at this point.

Maybe we can offload him to Everton as a package deal with Zouma ?

Who would buy after seeing him play? Better to leave a bit of mystery, don't play him and hope some other mugs will snap him up. I just hope whoever scouted him in the first place has now got a job scouting for Spuds, when we were first linked with him a number of members on here had serious doubts about his ability. He simply isn't good enough.

Bizarre really given the physical pressure that Simeone's teams play with and how both players struggled against lesser opposition with a similar approach.

I had a tiny bit of hope that he might have improved a little and regained some confidence, having reportedly played well for Milan, but seeing him again, he's the same poor player who made you question how he managed to become a pro and how anyone could want him at their club.

Wouldn't go back to Italy because of the racism so we open talks with Galatasaray for him? No chance he'll agree to move to Turkey imo.

The fact that the best offer he has is going to Turkey speaks volumes about where he is as a player now. 

Don't think we're ever going to be likely to recoup the £40m we spent on him. 

Transfer mistakes happen, I accept that but to have dropped another £35m on Drinkwater in the same window was just criminally inept from us. 

Bakayoko should have never left Monaco. Easy to say now....a loan move.. He is unsellable.

I think 2017 was worse because it had a direct impact on the season and how we did.

2015 was an sh*t window but the damage was done long before then, not even Messi would have got us out of it.

Should just drop the price to whatever we can get. We bought a complete dud ... it happens ... take the loss and move on ... and hopefully learn the lesson so that it doesn't happen again ...
