Looks like I might have a reason to watch a few Derby matches. Shame we're losing Jody though.

Nothing's confirmed yet but he's currently the favourite for the job and in talks according to Sky.

We best move quickly and highjack the deal!

Appointed manager of Derby County, Jodie Morris his no2. Good luck Frank. I think this may work out to be a new destination for some of our youth products.

Best Wishes Frank and Jody. Quite why someone with Super Frankie's dough would wish to subject himself to the stress and rigours of management is beyond me, then again maybe he needs a challenge.

FL I'm guessing has got a good relationship with Roman, and might be able to procure some of our loanies.

De Matteo wasnt successful with this when he went to Villa, possibly because the fact RA having to pay him off made him less amenable.

Best of luck to Frank, it will be interesting to see whether he enjoys it, there's plenty of world class players that have struggled in management. Guardiola and Zidane have both gone on to nearly eclipse their playing careers, I'm not sure Frank will do the same, having chosen to cut his teeth in the championship, rather than trying to work his up at a big club.

I would love to see him succeed in the dug out here one day.

Will be rooting for Frank to do well.

Will be interesting to see how he gets on... Not the easiest of first jobs, there's a demand from Derby to play a certain way and they'll be wanting to push for promotion next season too.

Looks like Derby County are about to come my second favourite team. Be rooting for them next season, especially against Dirty Leeds and QP Ha.

Would have been good to keep hold of Jody and get him involved in first team squad in some capacity, but just maybe in a couple of seasons time they will have worked wonders at Derby and we can welcome them back as the dream team to take us forward.

Best of luck to him...maybe he'll bring in 'Uncle Arry' as Director of Football.   Didn't see any announcement about Jody Morris though?  Is that official also?

Good luck to him, getting Jody in as second in command would be a fantastic move also. Could we see a route for our youth players on loan maybe?

I think if Jody goes there we'll definitely see three of our young stars (or whatever the limit is to one team) at Derby. Jody will know the qualities of the players, and know who they can use or not use. It would be a very good place to develop the players.

That said, I wish Frank the best regardless of what happens. I now have a Championship I'm eager to see succeed.

I wouldnt be completely surprised if Chelsea have said "hold off on accepting, you are in line for assistant manager for Chelsea".

He has to be the first one on our list for that job when the management situation is cleared up.

Nice one Frank and best of luck. I was beginning to fear he'd be another getting too comfy in a studio but it's great to see the likes of Frank and Gerrard take steps into management.

It's as stressful as you want to make it depending on your make-up and character. (and financial situation I guess)

Frank doesn't seem like a guy that will stress about it to me. Strikes me as the type that will do it as long as he enjoys it and feels he has something to offer.

The likes of Zidane, Ancelotti, Pochettino don't seem to find it stressful and I think we will see more managers/coaches adopting this approach from now on with modern day players earning so much that it's really only going to be those that have a want to do it that end up doing it.

Would be interesting to see how he is going to lead the team. I trust him, hopefully, he will promote them and do a good job, can't wait to see him taking charge of Chelsea.

Good luck Super Frankie!
