    Legend! A true exceptional one. My favourite Chelsea player of all time. He is one player of a generation. Never will we see a CM who can score as much goals as he does from open play, free kicks and pens. You name it, he had everything. A true great and it will be a huge miss to see him not kick a ball again. If he was to continue playing football for a PL team or another team in Europe , he still probably would get around double figures. Just a rare, once in a generation footballer you see. The memories I have.

    There was one moment where he joined City and people were angry. Although understandable, I always stood by him simply because of what he has done for us and he won everything at us and when he went City, fitting he did not win anything with City :D

    Will be missed. Hope he comes back to the club in some other capacity. Super, Super Frank! Super! Super Frank, Super! Super Frank! Super Frankie Lampard!  :bluescalf:

    I completely agree. I think it's a shame it never gets mentioned, to knock it in from that angle is incredible, not to mention the perfect weight on the shot

    I would be ecstatic if he came back and worked with our youth in some capacity. He is the perfect example for young footballers. His professionalism and work ethic were second to none. I also remember reading how he would clean the boots of the senior players when he was up and coming. This kind of attitude and respect is something that all young people, not just footballers, need to be taught.
