He was awful during the Women's Euro programme on Saturday - can't remember exactly what he said but I seem to remember it was something along the lines of "this wouldn't happen in a men's tournament" (about how long it took to call off the Germany/Denmark match).
July 31, 20178 yr Wenger and other haters of big money spending have not analyzed how much NBA/NFL/MLB teams spend on players, The money being spent on players in football is peanuts compared to that. These 'people' who are waiting for the bubble to burst have been saying the same cobblers for the past 25 years and will be saying that for the next 50. Unless football gets engulfed in a big fifa style corruption case where the sponsors are seriously willing to pull out which is the only way money stops coming into the game, The bubble aint bursting Wenger. August 1, 20178 yr This Audi cup is bonkers. Teams playing full games on consecutive days. Sturridge came on played for 10 minutes or so, scored, and injured himself. Liverpool winning this 3-0 but haven't looked special. Bayern looking awful tonight.
August 1, 20178 yr Well, if ever we as fans needed perspective that pre season friendlies are meaningless and have no baring on the level of season you'll have. Bayern just lost 3-0 to Liverpool, yes that's right. Liverpool. Not worried at all about the defeats eats to Bayern & Inter, kick on Sunday

The media are all over it already. It's going to be Klopptastic.
August 1, 20178 yr well utd and city are already ahead of us on odds to win league with us in third, so i wonder whether liverpool will jump us now. i wouldn't be surprised tbh.
August 1, 20178 yr Looking at the squads I'd have City and United above us certainly. If we don't do something major in the next few weeks we won't imo have a good season. When Hazard is out we look totallh out of ideas Edited August 1, 20178 yr by Chelsbear

August 2, 20178 yr It's about time Celtic took their supporters vile behaviour seriously. Lol! Moving anti
August 2, 20178 yr I was impressed with Liverpool last night. With the squad they have got i think them and City are the 2 to worry about. Everyone else (Tottenham, United and Arsenal). You can be 100% sure that we will be higher than them.
August 2, 20178 yr Can't actually believe that PSG has signed Neymar for 200M+... It's just crazy, I couldn't believe to that but now when I saw Messi's message, then I was shocked.
August 2, 20178 yr Don't know how accurate, but apparently it's gone down like this: - PSG can't pay that much, without running foul of FFP - PSG's Qatar owners/Qatar government will pay Neymar 300m to be the figurehead of the Qatar worldcup - Neymar then uses that money to payoff his contract with Barca and sign for PSG on a free - Neymar's dad/agent dives into his Scouge McDuck vault of money

August 2, 20178 yr Liverpool will be top of the league at Christmas. But they'll run out of puff since their style of football has scarce few players and relies on pace and energy - Champions league campaign will hurt them.
August 2, 20178 yr Messi saying goodbye, wow I can't believe this deal actually materialised. Where does this stop though? Football desperately needs something like a salary or a transfer cap.
