Seriously impressive from Liverpool (pains me to praise them)

City were abysmal, created nothing all game.

I think 3 of the 4 quarter final matches are pretty much over. And I'd bank on Bayern to win as well.

I'm fearful next year could be Liverpool's year or God forbid they could even win a 6th CL at this rate...surely they'll not be able to do that v Bayern or Real

See unfortunately I think they can. I thought City had a serious chance to win it.

their defending was fantastic tonight, simply snuffed City out. I know Aguero was missing but it never looked like City were going to create a clear chance

Glad Liverpool won, next week I can't see City stopping them from scoring

I'm not looking forward to Liverpool's visit to the Bridge in May after seeing that and knowing the shambles we are at the minute

They could've but majority of the attacking play was going through Sane and he was having brainfart after brainfart, there were other attacks that didn't bounce kindly or the final pass was bad. Silva could've scored but also had a brainfart. The were just destined not to score.

Think Man City have been exposed again..as great as they can be going forward, it's a disgrace how easily they've been allowed to win the league this season because teams were too scared to play them

True, though a few did and got hammered, Spurs is one I recall. Loved Wigan knocking them out of the FA Cup though they should have had a man sent off for that challenge on Sane.

Klopp complaining about having to play Everton on Saturday. Funny how the half breeds didn't mind us playing a CL semi less than 48hrs after an FA Cup semi.

Liverpool will win f**k all !! Real vs Barça in the final. This is written in the stars almost ... Bayern might change that, but hell there's no way that Pool could change anything about a possible RM vs Barça final. To me, Real will be winning it a 3rd time in a row!!! That scummy club made City look like Arsenal. Perfect tactics and execution by Liverpool. They should be through baring a miracle performance by City.

problem with liverpool is they put everything into the first 30 mins, then they taper off. you can't play that style and not expect negative impact of it such as injuries. i think trying that against a better and more experienced defence such as bayern, real madrid or even barcelona, you won't get far because the second half they will get picked off after fatigue sets in.

Correct. Did it make it right though? At what point did Liverpool FC, the rest of football on the whole, the papers and media lobby the FA on our behalf as to the hopeless position we were being put under?

If Liverpool do indeed reach the semis, they will force me to support detestable clubs like Barcelona. I will never forgive them for that
