Now suddenly because Bayern are sniffing about we’re scrambling trying to make an effort. If this is what it takes, hopefully big clubs go after the likes of Mount, Reece James or Abraham to force our hand. If Abraham tried this he would be laughed out of Cobham, CHO is only getting away with this because of how good he is/could be and the club are all too aware of the backlash another KDB situation would cause!

Might have been a bit of a stretch but you get my drift
January 7, 20197 yr Would be unfair if he had truly world class players in front of him but instead he's had an injured and aging Pedro, aging and very poor Willian and a CM who has done well but is ultimately out of position. Imo he's our best option for RW currently.
January 7, 20197 yr Could be a little too late and I'm not entirely convinced Sarri will keep Willian/Pedro out the team enough to convince CHO. Hopefully he will stay and sign a new contract though, losing our biggest talents then having to shell out nearly 60 million to buy another clubs promising talent isn't exactly ideal.

How trusted & involved he is in what remains of January - including tomorrow vs Spurs - could be decisive” Have to say it does feel as if CHO is holding the club to ransom which feels unfair given that he has had chances this year. He's started 3 and been subbed on 3 times in the 31 games we have played this season. He only got a start in the Europa League because we had already qualified. He's been given chances, but it's such a tiny amount. We have had Europa League, gone deep into a the League Cup, Willian's been poor this season, Pedro has been injured a lot, when you weigh it all up, he should be getting a lot more chances than he has had so far.
January 7, 20197 yr 13 minutes ago, Scott Harris said: He's started 3 and been subbed on 3 times in the 31 games we have played this season. 42 minutes in the premier league, woefully inadequate considering we have struggled for goals the last few months.
January 7, 20197 yr He made Morata look good. What more does he have to do to earn a proper chance? As stated, it's not like anyone else's performances (Hazard aside) is keeping him out of the team on merit.
January 7, 20197 yr Although he is not going to walk into their team and I don't t think he expects to, it is more that he probably feels he will get more chances to play at Bayern on merit if he plays well. Robben will not be there next season. Ribery is injury-prone. Muller can play there but it is not where he is best at and Bayern have mainly played him as a SS/AM this season. He has started on the wing only a small number of times. Gnabry, a talented player who was in a similar predicament at Arsenal as he could not get much starts is only 23 and has started 10 league games this season. Coman has started 6 games and struggled with injuries also. A lot of people would arguably say that CHO is better than Gnabry right now. If Gnabry can start that many games for Bayern, then CHO certainly will play a lot of games too. Kovac also rotates a lot too so CHO will defo start a lot of games and imo will easily outshine Coman and Gnabry in long run. It feels like now with CHO, we are suddenly hyping him up and giving him chances because another European giant is showing serious levels of interest. When there was minimal interest earlier in the season, he could not even get on the bench in the PL games. Could not start a Europa League game and could not even start a bloody Carabao Cup game. I remember we played Derby and won 3-2, Sarri played Willian and RLC as wingers and CHO was an unused sub. Where was the signs of faith him in them? CHO is probably thinking if he signs on, he could easily go in the same direction as other Chelsea academy prospects who are not given much chances and then end up leaving. I just wonder if, he himself feels the club is using him, just to sign a new contract. I genuinely think he will go to Bayern. He will play, they have shown a huge willingness to get him and there is defo imo a clearer path to the first 11 than here and a top team. I think he can make that LW a position of his own if he goes over there, while even on merit, this season he has been given minimal chances. I could defo see why he wants to leave Bayern. Sarri has shown faith in him a little too late.
January 8, 20197 yr Better not be true but the web is blowing up with news that we have accepted a fourth bid from Bayern in the 35 million range. Sky Sport Germany is claiming that among others.

"blowing up indeed" - Two newpapers and the S*n - all quoting the same Sky report. get a grip FFS.

" Nevertheless, the transfer is not yet in a dry towel." "However, the blues continue to try to convince the 18-year-old offensive talent to stay in London at least until the summer. " So NO, not accepted at all. Which is what you said, and which I took issue with. Like I have said many a time, you constantly post the most negative rubbish you can find. All the time. Some of us have to keep a balanced and realistic watch on what you and others are posting so that the more faint-hearted of us don't actually go believing your bullsh*t.

Get him some time at left wing if Hazard is False 9. Offer him a new contract, and if he still says "no", OK... it may have been too little too late, but at least he got a legit shot in the team. it's worth a gamble to hold off until summer. If Bayern really want him they will come back in the summer. Hopefully by then we can convince him that it is worth staying

So why did you leave out this part? FC Bayern and Chelsea have agreed after sky information on a transfer fee for talent Callum Hudson -Odoi. The issue here is that you take offence to anything and everything. All i've said it that we better not sell the biggest talent we have had for years at this club. What is the issue with that if i may ask? Stop being so God damn grumpy.

January 8, 20197 yr I despair at our club sometimes, I really do. Hope it's not true, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we have accepted a bid to be honest.

None of the sentences you quoted means a bid couldn't have been accepted. There is still a way to go from a bid being accepted to the actual transfer happening you know.
January 8, 20197 yr The most frustrating thing is he would have done just as much as Willian, if not more imo if he played more often.
January 8, 20197 yr I was under the impression that Bayern had met the original asking price of 35m but not actually agreed anything. For the love of god don't sell him
January 8, 20197 yr The article is contradictory - apparently we've agreed on a transfer fee yet we're also trying to convince him to stay. That doesn't add up. As far as I can tell, Sky Germany is not considered to be a very trustworthy source. I can't find any other reports that don't originate from Sky Germany. Tier 4 – Not to be trusted at all. These companies make money out of ensuring that you read them and they will make up anything to get you to harness advertising revenue.
January 8, 20197 yr So as far as I can tell Bayern have raised their bid to £35m which is allegedly our asking price. (Though I'm not sure we'd have set an asking price for a player we're trying to tie down to a new 5 year contract). Allegedly CHO has told Chelsea he wants to leave and Bayern have offered him the #10 shirt he makes the move. So sounds like they're going all in for him at the moment. We're under no obligation to sell so the best thing we could do is turn down the bids and just give the lad regular minutes between now and the end of the season. Willian has played basically every game in the league this season and his return has been underwhelming. Drop him and let's see what Hudson-Odoi comes up with because if we lose him we're going to have to spend a lot more than £35m to replace him.
