Conte could have been sacked a month ago, he is probably going to stay 1 more season.

Yes I am sure Hazard will hand in a transfer request as a direct result of Sarri being appointed a bit later than Chelsea fans wanted. 

I am also convinced Hazard would have signed a new contract had Sarri been appointed a week ago, before pre-season, while everyone is away on International duty. That would have made the difference between staying and going.

Site was down, site came back up but management page wasn't, management page is now back.

well that's about as clear as mud  this entire torrid affair is a cluster f**k from start to finish.....I guess it can only get better from here on?

It wasn't even that high. 7 million pounds is not a lot of money in todays world of football.

Now we have messed around for over a month and we won't even save any money in the end probably. If we can strike a deal at all.

What is Ridiculous is people moaning and constant whining about CFC ....it’s expected of the media to act like that...but Fans on this CFC supporters web site need to Man Up ......the days of CFC writing blank cheques have gone.

The total costs of sacking Conte and his team of coaches and paying millions to Naples and paying millions to Sarri and his team of coaches must be ENORMOUS ! .... has any body calculated that bill ? ..... IMHO I think we should keep Conte until his contract expires next July.....The Players also need to Man Up ....or move on if they don’t like it.

Exactly my view. Conte won't want to leave on a poor season it hurts his prospects. We may not be all conquering but still competitive somewhere. Maybe not in the league but we will see.

There is such a fear players like hazard and willian will go but at some point they will. Whether this summer, the next or when they retire. We moved on from Zola, lampard, drogba etc we can move on from them.

I can only assume it's because Roman hasn't been able to get in the country and see over the club. I am not sure why else it would take this long. Probably having to go through multiple people to get this deal sorted. It's difficult to comment on the situation as I know nothing about how clubs are run or how tough negotiations can be for players/managers. It may not be as simple as the media make it out to be. I mean City have been negotiating with Napoli for Jorginho for, it seems, about a month and they're still no nearer to getting the deal completed. Maybe it's Napoli/ADL that's the problem?
