One of our bogey sides this afternoon. Add to the mix Rafa Benitez who loves causing us grief and it looks like we could be in for a Battle Royale against Newcastle. They were very unlucky against Spurs and should have ended up with at least a point. This will be a tough match and our defense will need to improve if we are to get anything out of this match.. Hazard and Kova will start on the bench I reckon. Sarri needs to bring them on a,s,a,p second half. It's going to be tough but fingers crossed. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!

Newcastle has always been a problematic team for us, but they are in bad form and I am hoping for a 4-0 Chelsea scoreline that will put us above Liverpool in the table.

I expect the same team that started against arsenal

I’m wondering how long into the season it will be before we finally get punished for playing Luiz as part of a CB partnership. I love the guy but I really would be happier seeing Christensen Rudiger as our first choice partnership. I get you can’t really justify a reshuffle if the team keeps winning though. 

Am I right in ready that that Muto geezer who we were linked with plays for the Toon now?

Somehow I think this is the hardest game from the first 3 games.

Correct - was a decent but not outstanding player in Mainz and so Newcastle managed to get him cheaply.

Great to see hazard starting and kovacic should get an early few goals and then rest hazard after 70

This is probably our best starting 11 and will be most of the season.
