From what I saw on the replays, Morata was the only one offside and seeing as he didn't interfere with play, the goal was legitimate.

Only disappointment for me tonight was not seeing Hudson-Odoi get mins. Sat on the bench for sod all. I would have put him in over Moses tbh, Moses didn't impress at all. Can only think the reason Moses was put in over Callum was because he can provide more defensively. Hopefully we get a soft tie in the next round so Callum can get some mins. Maybe even Ampadu can feature too.

Sarri gets away with it cause we won. But unless we are drawn against city there is no good excuse, we really should be seeing Ampadu and CHO in the next round.

If we can be just a bit more stable and beat their asses come weekend, Sarri will have done really really good so far. I really hope our Club will back him and get in good players for this system.......he deserves it. So far the likes of dailymail etc only have 1 article about the win.....and thats the match review. If pool had won, there would be countless articles of how supreme pool are and another 20 articles about how this and that player are awesome. Great job by the lads. If we just beat them in 2 days, this could possibly ruin their season, given the mental disorder of their coach and the lack of experience of the players. Henderson losing his mind yesterday was a great example what sand house this club is. And some of you still licking their a***s. Yep.

Great to beat the dippers on their own patch so everything was justified last night and I guess the level of opposition was a big factor. But have to admit in being disappointed in no CHO or Ampadu. If these lads aren't going to get games in the cup or the Europa, they may as well go out on loan. 

Lots of mixed Plus and minus points last night. We saw the good and bad of Fabregas - he totally dictated that first half but as soon as a bit of pressure was put on him he struggled and for me would be a huge risk in the bigger games now. Both Moses and Barkley looked good early on but both faded as the game went on and really should have been subbed. Barkley makes the wrong decision too often and I don't think he has a "football brain". You can get away with that at Everton - not Chelsea. Dave had his worst game I can recall in a long time and Christensen did okay bot looked shaky at times and was lucky not to give away a goal with that really poor back-pass. Morata and Willian were their usual - just didn't do enough to warrant getting picked.

But overall we played some decent stuff and we have HAZARD! What is concerning is how few shots on goal we actually have and how we don't trouble the keeper enough. That HAS to improve.

You're about 50 behind me. Sort of goal you watch again & again and never tire of.

Can add that one to the goal he scored against Liverpool in the league a couple of seasons back and of course the goal against Arsenal. Let's hope there are plenty more to come...........
