He’s done it all night! Was his club as a kid and a fan.

Yes he's grown up a lot since Batesy gave him a public boloocking in the match programme for binging on burgers at Gatwick late at night before a match.

Liverpool are obviously a very good side at the moment playing at home. All in all despite some soft spots and the odd below par performance I thought we did well. Fab’s first game back he will improve his fitness and a three man midfield suits him a lot more. Barkley tired later on but pretty bloody good overall. Cahill played well. Emerson also solids do more or less held his own against Shaquiri.

I wonder how much will be made of the """penalties""" the Liverpool fans kept screeching for...

They are more interested in moaning about an offside for our equaliser.

I think Jorginho will struggle as much as Fabregas did in that second half. Liverpool are a pressing team and they won't give Jorginho a second to make his passes. If it was only Fabregas that was struggling under pressure, then I would agree with you, but it wasn't just him, it was all of them. Hopefully Jorginho proves me wrong and he shows how good he truly is with his one touch passing. It's going to need to be spot on against Liverpool's first 11.

I think this is spot on Scott and in fact Jorginho was guilty of a drop in his usual high standards against WHU. Its a concern for the weekend. The qulaity on the ball is great but under pressure there are clearly errors that are occurring from both players. Kante will need to play nearer on Saturday and act as bouncer.

Our reliance on Hazard is quite frankly, frightening.

The best teams rely on their best men to deliver when the chips are down. No big deal there for me.

If we have 3 or 4 top men like other top teams good. If we have only one and he;s delivering, well that's what you want innit?

That's a fair point, I'm maybe being harsh on Cesc as that is the highest pressing team we've faced this season, and you're right that it wasn't exclusively him struggling. Agreed Jorginho will have his biggest test so far at the weekend, I'm optimistic that he'll shine.

Highlights on quest channel at 10.30. Worth watching if only because its hosted by that f**kwit Liverpool fan Colin Murray, be fun seeing him upset.

Fabregas got away with that having just seen the hand ball again, he had his hand straight out.

Kevin Friend you f**king c*nt

Disgusting refereeing performance to compound the situation as well, gave us absolutely nothing all evening

12th man Kevin Friend

f**ked by the ref and a wonder goal

Kevin Friend simply has to be investigated. Beginning to loathe Carragher as well, was disgusting tonight

Didn’t deserve that at all. Never a free-kick for the first and Barkley was offside for the goal, they just didn’t have a camera angle to show it definitively.

f**k Kevin Friend.

Friend gave his maximum to damage us in so many ways, and he succeed. f**k off, you f**king ugly c*nt of a person.

has that c*nt Kevin friend ever refereed one of our game and not been biased to the other team. It happens a lot of times when he’s the referee

Kevin Friend is a terrible ref in general but saves his most turgid performances for us.

Never a foul by Keita, f**ked over by Friend yet again

That refereeing Anfield away performance rivals Mark Halsey v Man U and Rob Styles v Chelsea

Friend gave them that result. We were in control and then gives a bokking and freekick for a fair tackle.

Kevin Friend is a tosser.

I don't usually complain, but the ref had a shocking game. I hate Chelsea and Friend.

Played them off the park, got beaten by f**kface Friend.

Friend is a disgrace, how the f**k was that a free kick and you could clearly see from VAR that Barkley was in front of the defender.

I could go on, this was all from 2 pages :laugh2:

Indeed. Laughable cnuts. As I said earlier in this thread, just wait for the " Chelsea getting away with ugly football tactics and liverpool robbed of two clear pens and a red card for moses" BS from Sky. Or the alternative BS going like : "kloop making intelligent rotation and unlucky to lose vs Sarri going with a full squad" hahah !! UTC

intelligent rotation - they played Salah, Mane and Firmino, Keita, Milner and Henderson. He rotated the back 4 and lost.

mind you, we rotated our back 4 and they did their best to lose the game - Christensen had a nightmare and the pussyfooting around at the back that led to their goal and the 2 backpasses were abysmal

we need to be on it on Saturday - no mistakes and we win

watching highlights on Quest. the Keita foul on Moses that led to the equaliser (dismissed as not reallya foul by Sky pundits) is described here as "not a great tackle, pretty careless, bordering on the reckless"

fair assessment to me

I agree and don't understand the comments. It was high and reckless and he had little control. Maybe not a yellow but a definite foul.
